A new report from Politico shines light on how Marco Rubio refused to join a proposed unity ticket with Ted Cruz, both before and after the Florida senator ended his White House bid.
According to Politicos sources, Utah Sen. Mike Lee has attempted on multiple occasions to broker a shotgun wedding between the former campaign rivals, yet Rubio has declined to partake in the efforts to halt Donald Trumps march to the Republican nomination.

Cruz keeps calling for people who don’t have pathway to 1237 to drop out of the race.
Question: In a couple weeks when his pathway runs out, will Cruz take his own advice or be a hypocrite?
Trump said Rubio was a worse liar than Cruz—when he attacked little Marco—now he has reversed himself again. Anyone have evidence of this “unity “ tripe??? politico is full of sh!t. Cruz may have asked for an endorsement, Trump asked Cruz to be his Many months ago.

If I were the among the last two candidates, I wouldn't drop out unless my possible total (current + remaining delegates) cannot beat the other candidate's current total.
I completely agree with you.
Right. Trump can't stand marital infidelity.
Have you informed Trump of this yet?
If Trump makes a statement, should I call him a liar because I don’t agree with it?
So rubio is lying?
That wasn’t the question. There are still 3 candidates not a final 2 anyway since Kasich is obviously not leaving.
EDIT: If I were the among the top two candidates
“...Gee, Rubio doesn’t trust Cruz and Romney and the others plotting to get a brokered convention. I can’t for the life of me think of a reason why...”
Rubio is not agreeing to anything with anyone. He thinks he can take the nomination with the GOPe’s help in a brokered convention.
“...I do have a trickle of respect for Rubio for doing the honorable thing and dropping out...”
Almost correct. He didn’t drop out - he “suspended” his campaign. He’s hoping and angling to be right smack in the middle of a brokered convention and believes he will be backed by the GOPe if that comes to pass.
