If they follow their normal pattern, expect massive, co-ordinated attacks in the US in the weeks leading up to the US election. It worked in Europe to defeat conservatives several years ago.

The elimination of the current lot will only lead to the creation of more.
It is an ongoing battle, and will not end as long as the ideology exists.
If and when that ideology is eliminated, though, it is only a matter of time until another ideology arises, reviled equally whether as deserving or not, and the conflict resumes.

Look at the results of the French and Spanish elections after the bombings there preceding their elections. The message was appeasement, not resistance will bring you peace. It worked, moderate and liberals defeated conservatives.
