ATLANTA - The day before Arizona Republicans cast their ballots, a new poll for FOX 5 and sister station FOX 10 Phoenix shows businessman Donald Trump is poised to win the Arizona primary with nearly 50% of the vote.

The poll conducted by Opinion Savvy shows Trump at 46%, ahead of Texas Senator Ted Cruz at 33%.

The poll shows the race narrows among early voters with Trump at 44% to Cruz’s 38%.

Opinion Savvy Founder and Managing Partner Matt Towery, Jr. said, “It is not expected that the race will come to such slim margins, as many Trump supporters eschew early voting, instead showing up on election day.

You Convinced Me.... I appreciate all the time it took for you to copy and paste all of that, but I already voted for TED CRUZ, and hope to in the general.

Some FR links that sum up what I think about Trump:

Nice. I wouldn’t expect a reply that is anything less than that by a Trump Supporter.

Probably not the best move to mention “Glenn Beck” and “White Horse” in the same sentence... ;-)

You could just as easily say, “If Trump was really anti-Establishment, then he would work with Cruz. Instead he fights him.”

Yeah, but you'd be wrong.

Cruz is the one with the Jeb team gathering behind him.

I don't think you get it. Conservatives support conservatism not people. We support Ted because he is the only conservative in the race.

Then what did you do this past two weeks when Cruz fully abandoned "conservatism" to get elected at any cost?

Go ahead, explain to us how siding with Moveon, #blacklivesmatter, and the totalitarian left was "conservative". Go ahead, explain how taking on the GOPe money machine to his campaign was "principled".

As I said, watching those of you who remain Cruzers after this past two weeks would have been fun if it hadn't been so sickening.

I await the *crickets* of your response.....

Interesting that, in early voting, Trump only leads Cruz by 6%! I thought I had heard that Trump was up by more. With a big surge tomorrow, maybe Cruz can pull this out!

>> Cruz is the one with the Jeb team gathering behind him. <<

Oh, please. Neil Bush only hopped on board after Cruz was obviously the only way to stop the liberal hijacking of the Republican Party by Trump. Trump, on the other hand, has been in bed with MItch McConnell, Thad Cochrane, Roger Stone, Hillary Clinton, and that bunch since Day 1.

Unlikely. Opinion Savvy last week was very close with Florida but they seemed to miscalculate the early vote. Trump could easily be ahead by more than 6 points. My hunch is that Trump wins Arizona tomorrow, probably comfortably.

I actually like a lot of Trump’s policy stances. One thing I don’t like about Trump is his lack of tact and his tendency to say ridiculous things in the heat of the moment.

If you go back and actually listen to what Ted said, he first excoriated the liberal protesters and then pointed out Trump’s lack of leadership. Are you proud of your candidate saying he wanted a protester to get “punched in the head” while they were being escorted out? How about him calling people “pussy” or claiming he has a bid dick?

Look, these people who are protesting are idiots and there are two ways to deal with them. 1. Act like a liberal thug and encourage violence against them. OR 2. Act like an enlightened first world person and debate them and shame them and point out how stupid and ridiculous they are. The second tactic is hard to do when your candidate is just as ignorant and crass but simply on the other side of the political issues.

On the money issue...come on. He is a candidate running for office. What is he supposed to say “I don’t want money from the best money men in the party.”...? Your guy has actually admitted to paying bribes to elected officials for the purpose of compromising the free market system and tilt the playing field in his favor. He is a con artist. I can only wonder what other seedy organizations he bribed besides politicians. Maybe the mafia? Maybe the jihadis in the middle east? Who knows? Who cares? Right?

As long as Cruz isn’t compromising his promises to us, I don’t care who he takes money from (if it’s legal). He kept his promises in the Senate. He will keep his promises when he is in the White House.

I am not even sure what party Trump will be a member of in a year from now, let alone which positions he will advocate.

Just like I thought, you have no excuse for what he said. I watched his pronouncement twice (ick), and anyone who thinks he didn't watch a sleazy politician feigning outrage over Trump's "rhetoric and tone", and "consequences of his campaign" to try to score political points is a bit short of a full deck. If you don't think he blamed Trump for the massive intent to commit violence on the part of moveon & Co, along with the shutting down of his rally, then I have this bridge to sell you and a Nigerian bank account for you to deposit some money into.

You just pretended he didn't side with the protesters, which is also kind of predictable. Good job. Great job of pretzeling those conservative principles too, kind of like your preferred candidate though.........

Yep, it was Trump commenting about some guy who just took off hitting his supporters that caused this........of course it was.......

So, you also think it's okay for him to pretend he was against the Washington establishment, taking them to task all these years for not being conservative, call them liars, and then when he suddenly needs money, go pimp himself out to those same people who everyone knows don't give money without strings attached. These are the open borders amnesty GOPe people he's taking big bucks from, and you think it's okay?

Give us a break, some "conservative" you turned out to be.......
