To the American news media and Republican Party’s dismay, Donald Trump continues to be the 250-kilogram gorilla of a frontrunner in the 2016 presidential election.

Trump is by far and wide the heir apparent to the GOP nomination. Yet, reading the Wall Street Journal’s editorial the day after March 15, when Trump won another round of contests, except Ohio, one was left with the impression that Trump was the biggest loser. Kasich finally won Ohio, the only contest he’s won so far.

Ah, I love the blaming of “white male” establishment, when there are plenty of female Republicans who oppose Trump as well.<p.

Such a typically leftist race/gender-based smear.

As it stands now, the left and the establishment republicans have the same goals, that is, to thwart Trump’s rise to power.

It all makes sense now. Running losing candidates for president, having power to effect radical change in congress but marching lockstep with Democrats. Running as conservatives but voting with Democrats.

It’s the same people in different packaging. They have the same goals, same aspirations, same voting records. Trump threatens their status quo and they are terrified.

I think blowing up the republican party as it stands today is a GOOD thing, because it would be blowing up a part of the Democrat establishment that works to erode my freedom.

When republicans keep repeating that the party will implode if Trump is nominated they have to realize they are only encouraging me to pull the lever for Trump.

It’s not like they are going to win without Trump....so it’s not about beating Hillary.....it’s about them keeping their jobs........working hard in Washington to continue to chip away at my freedoms. Thanks but no thanks. Voting for Trump is the next best thing to dropping a bomb on Washington...just without the collateral damage.

Well you are correct. The left and the right of our now entrenched political class are equally corrupt and so are equally terrified of Trump being elected President. He is a major threat to their way of life which will change radically with a Trump Presidency.

As for the people who have bought into the false meme that either Donald Trump is a stupid clown or that he is a closet liberal and will betray his promises when he gets into office I have no guidance for them as they are the same voters who are led around by the media and the chattering class every election cycle.

.....it’s about them keeping their jobs........

That is the campaign motto for the GOPe.

That is #1 for them.

The rest of us slobs, the county and freedom are a far distant second.

Long live the Uniparty!

250-kilogram gorilla

LOL.The metric system has creeped into expressions, but in this case they are off by quite a bit. It should be a 363.64 kg (800 lb) Gorilla.

White male GOP Elites love to ‘apologize’ and ‘humble themselves’ ... we need to vote all of them OUT OF OFFICE.

The left's unrelenting attacks on White males are chasing blue collar Democrats over to Trump.

Aren't they the same as Reagan Democrats?
