Eric was on two programs this morning. Morning Joe and F&F He was very positive. Asked about Melania in both interviews. Spoke very highly of her , what a great mother she was to Barron and what a marvelous First Lady she would be !
Apparently Romney not Cruz started the wives comments
Also on several programs talked about “shaming” a technique we have been targets of here on FreeRepublic More about what it is and how it works coming up in next hour on Fox business Wish Jim R would stop it on FR

I don’t know about that, but it does appear that they are more “easily managed” than most. They may be trained from an early age to do as their authority figures tell them to do. Good, compliant “little” people.

Yes, it would seem that way. If we don’t wrestle control away from these elites, I suspect more states to go “caucus” in the next election cycle (if there is one). Caucus forums make it so much easier for them to get the results they want.
I heard Eric on F&F and have been checking to see if there is a video of it. I agree - he was very positive about Melania (called her his step mother). That’s the first time I recall any of the kids speaking about her and I figured they probably had a good relationship but I was happy to have one of them speak positively about her.
Don’t know anything about “shaming” but will try to catch it - thanks for the heads up.
I don’t understand why more American citizens don’t demand honest elections. It seems to get worse with each passing election cycle.

The politicos view events to be managed, like in a war. So, when Brussels happened, the elites evaluated that as beneficial to Trump. They released the Melania picture to counter that. They were partially successful in that it took some focus AWAY from what benefited DJT and put it on what they thought would be a negative for him. Keeping the masses distracted with stupid stuff, strategically timed, is one tool that at their disposal.

The dishonesty and manipulation is so aggravating. They bend anything and everything to create the scenario they want. If our education system hadn’t taken away the ability to think for ones self over the past thirty years maybe thugs would be better?

The larger problem is the lack of integrity of the common man, and the apathy of the common man. Our Founding Fathers wisely told us that this Republic was meant ONLY for a “deeply religious and wholly moral people”, and that we needed to be “ever vigilant” in order to keep it from being wrested away from us by the Elites.
Can anyone honestly describe our citizenry this way? I think until we have a Revival of the Hearts, toward God, that this restoration will elude America.
Yes, education is an integral part of it. We stopped teaching the Constitution and individual rights back in the 1960’s.
Even more important, is the need for a turn toward God. Until this nation’s heart does that, the Elites control will continue.
Basking in the fun! Wish it were sunny here. overcast and windy. Have to get in the shower and get going. Busy day. Hubby home ill for second day in row—tummy issues, might just be a bug. Daughter-in-law and granddaughter arriving next week for 2 years!! Our navy kid is going to be stationed away so the girls asked if they could bunk here. Feels terrific to know they feel comfortable enough to WANT to be with us.

You are so blessed to have your DIL and granddaughter to want to come and live with you. That alone speaks so very highly of you and your hubby’s character and heart.
