Will They Steal The Election From Donald Trump? - Stefan Molyneux

Republican Presidential Candidate Donald Trump continues to increase his lead in national polls and accumulate more delegates than his opposition. At this point, Trump is the clear choice of conservative voters to be the Republican nominee and presidential candidate.

While many of his harshest critics have accepted his status as the likely Republican nominee – efforts persist to stop him.

If Trump gains 1,237 delegates prior to the start of the Republican National Convention in Cleveland, Ohio on July 18th, he clinches the nomination.

If Trump doesn’t reach 1,237 delegates prior to the convention – he could be denied the nomination via a contested convention despite being the choice of most Republican voters.

Where was all this alarm when it came to re-electing comrade
dictator obama in 2012? By then he had established himself as the worse president in the history of the country.

This race is not over. If Cruz starts winning and overtakes Trump, will you still feel the same?

Some of us are slow on the uptake.

Back in 2012, I thought Obama had a lock on second place, behind Buchanan. As bad as he was, I thought he would at least avoid triggering another open civil war. I didn’t realize until after the election that Obama’s destruction was worse and likely longer-lasting than then first Civil War, even without much shooting.

Why don't you just watch the video and then post something of intelligence instead of "feelings."

“If Cruz starts winning and overtakes Trump”

Ted has proven incapable of winning primary states, with the exception of his home state and next door Oklahoma.

I’m sorry, but he doesn’t have a prayer of winning this thing outright, as proven by his dismal performance in the race to this point.

TRUMP BALLOT SECURITY PROJECT
Committee to Restore America’s Greatness PAC
FR Posted 3/19/16 by Albion Wilde

The Trump Ballot Security Project (TBSP) was formed when the main stream media reported dozens of voting irregularities in the Texas Republican primary. This ultimately totaled over 600 reports in at least six counties including Dallas County and Travis County. (NOTE:Even though @realDonaldTrump won delegates in Texas the @TedCruz- @georgepbush #RickPerry cabal is refusing to slate Trump supporters.)

In virtually every case votes cast for Donald J. Trump were tallied for Senator Marco Rubio. The TBSP established a Toll Free number to collect further reports of voter irregularities.

Almost immediately there were over 300 complaints from Oklahoma. Only a week later the Kansas and Maine Caucuses brought hundreds of more complaints including claims of double voting by supporters of Sen. Ted Cruz.

Now we are focused on Arizona, Utah, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and California. To the extent possible, we are attempting to place trained poll watchers in those counties with a recent history of voter fraud.

The Trump Ballot Security Project is committed to investigating all complaints of voter fraud. In the event a pattern can be determined, the seating of these delegations can and will be challenged before the Credentials committee of the Republican National Convention.

We have dispatched lawyers and election law experts to all of the states mentioned above to investigate and document voter fraud. NOTE The Trump campaign is not currently devoting resources to this important function.

TBSP is a project of the Committee To Restore America's Greatness

“Will The Republican Establishment Steal The Election From Donald Trump?”

I think the real question is “Will The Democrat Establishment Steal The Election From Donald Trump?” and I don’t think their apparatus of fraud, complicit media, etc. will be in place well enough soon enough to be able to pull it off without being detected, disrupted and eventually busted.

Good post, worth sitting through.

After 1968 the convention rules were changed, making a contested convention less likely. On the other hand, the rules committee can change the rules the day before to give the other (known or unknown) picks an advantage, or eligibility they wouldn't have had otherwise.

That depends. By my take, for Ted to ‘overtake’ Trump now with the remaining contests, I’d think he’d have to do much better than 50% of the remaining wins (I’ve seen some takes where that number is actually up around 80-90%).

If it really is only 50% or so AND Kasich were to drop out, then maybe, just maybe there’s a chance for Ted. But I really don’t think this is going to happen anywhere like that.

We’re gonna see soon in a couple of months and then pure mathematics are going to take over and the only excuse then for Ted and/or Kasich to remain is to be complete convention spoilers.

...”This race is not over. If Cruz starts winning and overtakes Trump, will you still feel the same?”, ....

I will feel the same about anyone who gains the most votes from THE PEOPLE, without corruption going on from the rich establishment who think they deserve to keep their riches and positions, regardless of how much damage is occurring to our government system and way of life. If the abuse of Donald Trump continues, true warfare and true revolution is not far behind. I hope that does not happen because we know some would love to institute Marshall Law. Feathering their own nest is the only thing they care about and if they have to destroy their party and their country to keep that comfy nest, they will do it.

Has anyone thought about the consequences of imposing martial (not Marshall) law? It would give the half breed the excuse for a third term/President for life he capitalize on. Remember “Let no crisis go to waste”.

...”I’m sorry, but he doesn’t have a prayer of winning this thing outright, as proven by his dismal performance in the race to this point.”...

That is exactly right. Ted needs to become a Supreme Court Justice. The elites do not like him, either. They hold their noses and support him because they desperately fear that a President Donald Trump would take away their playthings and give them back to the true owners. We must face the fact that we have a government with two elite parties, which are very much the same on the issues that really matter to the people. The real sameness, though, can be found in the trashing of our Constitution and in the concept of a government “by the people.” You will find more common sense now in almost any small farming community than you will find in that large bubble called the federal government, academia, Hollywood, the Media (now, includes FOXNEWS), Wallstreet and radical feminism. In the end, common sense will prevail because it is a part of Mother Nature and Mother Nature will not be fooled forever. Much suffering may occur before common sense is revived but it will happen.

Thanks for the correction. I seriously doubt that most people even know what martial law would mean and how dangerous it would be. Certainly, the elites should know what the danger is and that is why they need to rally around whomever gets the most votes from the people. We are accustomed to having President’s that are not liked by many people. So be it. Because of the lust for power, it will never be any different. So, tyranny in either party should not be tolerated.

If Trump gets the required delegates before the convention he will win the nomination. If he doesn't, then he wont. But, saying that the Republicans are stealing the nonination from him if he doesn't get enough delegates but still doesn't win is being a sore loser.

Whether you are pro- or anti-Trump accuracy would be helpful in thinking about this:

...despite being the choice of most Republican voters.

This seems to be a condition that is vanishingly unlikely to be true, even if the field of active candidates were to narrow to Trump vs. Cruz, only, today. Thus far, Trump is the choice of a plurality in the range of 32% to 45% of voters in Republican primaries and caucuses. The phrase "most Republican voters" denotes a majority, not a plurality.

Yep, the race continues. Cruz has lost 21 states, the entire South, and over 2.1 million votes to Trump. Cruz’s support from his home state,Texas, as their longest running AG and current Senator is remarkably low. Cruz has utilized thousands of workers and volunteers to get out his vote. He & his SuperPacs have spent likely 30X more than Trump on ads. Trump has utilized little or no ground game to get out the vote. People, entirely on their own accord - vote for Trump.

http://www.thegreenpapers.com/P16/R

Trump won 37% of votes-7,548,429 and -—> 696 delegates.

Cruz won 27% of votes- 5,484,494 and —-> 424 delegates.

~~Countdown to 1237 delegates~~

The race is >60% over. Remaining state delegates- 906 are available as hard pledged delegates (97 are free agents.) To be nominated on the 1st round, you must have complied with Rule 40.

Trump must win 59% or at least 541/906 delegates.
Trump won 11 or 12 Majority delegations (Rule 40).
Trump can afford to lose up to 365 future delegates.

Ted must win 90% or at least 813/906 delegates.
Ted must win 4 more Majority state delegations (Rule 40).
Ted can give up no more than 93 future delegates.

Ted Cruz remains only to spoil Donald Trump’s win of 1237.
He prays that Bush & co. will work a deal for him in Cleveland.
