Cruz Feeling 'Pretty Darn Good' About Romney's Backing
NBC News ^ | 3/19/16 | NBC News

Ted Cruz openly welcomed the backing of Mitt Romney on Friday afternoon, telling reporters at a press conference on the Arizona-Mexico border that Romney's decision is "pretty darn good."

"Listen, in my book, when someone says I'm voting for you and I encourage everyone else to vote for you, that's pretty darn good," Cruz said, also responding to the absence of an official endorsement by the GOP's 2012 nominee. "And I'll take that - and take that happily."

" I'd be more worried about Heidi 'Crazy Eyes' Cruz showing up. "

Watching her face as Ted spews his lies is educational. She has some deep problems. Both of them produce weird muscle movement around the mouth area.

We've been had. Some of us caught on more quickly than others.

Up til about 2 days before the Kansas Cacas's, I tried to stay out of the Trump vs. Cruz debates and just listened to both sides, and prayed I made a good decision.

What bothered me most is when I looked up Cruz's major donors on https://www.opensecrets.org/pres16/contrib.php?cycle=2016&id=N00033085&type=f it clearly shows Goldman-Sachs as one of his major donors. Then I remembered Goldman-Sachs was one of 0bama's major donors in the 2008 presidential race.

That was just one crack in his armor. Since then it's gotten worse since he was supposed to be, and claimed to be, anti-establishment but is now embracing them more and more. I'm so glad I made the right choice with Trump.

Why is Romney able to vote in a Utah primary? He was governor of Massachusetts and has a home there.
The other day he said he was thinking about voting for Kasich in Ohio too

Will Mittens help Trump in the long run?

“I’m feeling pretty good about getting a guy who doesn’t want me to win to tell people to vote for me just so that someone else doesn’t win.”

“You know, now that I think it through I’m also feeling good about the fact that he didn’t actually endorse me, and doesn’t want me to be President.”

“It’s super cool that he is admittedly just wanting me to play ‘jammer’ so he can try to swing someone else across the line.”

I have to admit that when this started I was all in for Cruz.
Then I became Cruz/Trump
Then Trump/Cruz

After this campign I am seeing through the excellent camoflage that Cruz uses to see that he really is one of THEM.
Globalist.

“Careful, Ted Cruz might show up to denounce your violence for posting that.”

Dear Cruzers, It must be awful to have put your trust in a “pricipled conservative” like Ted Cruz only to find out he’s schlonged you! But I don’t suppose we will see you abandon him, because, after all he’s got “principles,” at that “trumps” ethics, reason and honesty! So when your choice is Trump of Hillary, will you vote for the “lesser of two evils” and pull the handle for Hillary, or just stay home to “preserve your principles?”

His home state changes.
MI, MA, UT...

I think he claims UT as his official residence now. Closer to the home office, and better taxes.

We’ve been had. Some of us caught on more quickly than others.

**************************

About 2 weeks before the Chris Wallace Sunday interview where he looked like a weasel politician, I was getting very disgruntled .... that interview was the one that was the final straw that broke this camel’s back. If he’s the nominee, I’ll vote for him, but I don’t think he’ll win & he won’t “kick the table over & start a new game” (to quote Newt G.) as Trump would & that’s what I think the country needs, even if some chaos ensues.

Sadly that does appear appear to be the case. Maybe the fact that he started his public service career working for Bush-43 should have clued us in.

Even so, he is still a good Senator, but he may be poisoning himself so bad that holding his seat could become a challenge.

What I can’t understand is WHY THE HURRY. He’s young...he has many more elections he could run in. Just makes no sense to get so worked up.

First getting Graham's support which is like getting black mold in your house, and now

Adding Romney's endorsement is like having your deadbeat used car salesman brother in law move in and crash on your couch.

“She has some deep problems.”

I feel sorry for her, even though I find her affiliations and career path loathsome. At the individual level, I think she lives under excruciating pressure and cognitive dissonance. Small wonder that she has a psych history.

When this is all over, and Trump is the nominee, where is Ted going to go? His fellow Senators hate him. Beck is nutty as a fruitcake and will be off somewhere in tinfoil land to even notice him. The Establishment will drop him like a used condom.

The only thing left for him is to lie to Conservatives and TEA Party people, that he did it all to save the country.

Not going to work, Ted. Best thing for you to do is become a preacher, like your dad. Then you can legally scam people.

Cruz, you might find this nomination to be the first brick to fence you in. Romney just showed himself to be a ‘Richard Cranium And you, might surprise all in showing yourself to be the same. Lower than dirt=Romney

Sells whatever is left of his 'conservative' reputation for 30 pieces of Romney 'fake' silver.

Based on your post, and others in this thread, I'm assuming that you, and the other Trumpets, do not want Romney, any of the GOPe, or any Cruz supporter to vote for Trump if he's the nominee. Is this a correct assumption?

Whether it’s Cruz or Trump or BOTH, there will need to be a process of the GOPe RINOs SUBMITTING to the existence of & dominance by CONSERVATIVE Republicans representing the base. The RINOs will do this only reluctantly but it will be a process they need to undergo. We can NEVER trust these people wholly and will need to be on our guard where they are concerned.

Cruz did not have Conservative credentials for very long any way. It’s like a suit he is wearing to get him the nomination.

He starting establishment, and it looks like he will crumble establishment.
