“After this campign I am seeing through the excellent camoflage that Cruz uses to see that he really is one of THEM.”

Sadly that does appear appear to be the case. Maybe the fact that he started his public service career working for Bush-43 should have clued us in.

Even so, he is still a good Senator, but he may be poisoning himself so bad that holding his seat could become a challenge.

What I can’t understand is WHY THE HURRY. He’s young...he has many more elections he could run in. Just makes no sense to get so worked up.

“WHY THE HURRY?”

I think it is because he knows he could not keep the outsider schtick going for another 4 years. He knows that eventually he has to dance to the tune of the people paying his bills.

One simple reason. A Cruz Presidency would "fix" Obama's legacy for future historians. If the NWO/CFR Globalists had been able to elect Cruz, the "racist birther slander" against Obama would be moot.

Historians would say that Cruz, a white man, born in Canada, was elected when hateful Republicans said Obama, only accused of being born in Kenya, was ineligible. Thus proving Republicans are racist.

The precedent would have been set to bring in a most vile candidate born anywhere else in the world (Saudi Arabia, Iran, China?) to tear us apart.

Good question. I guess Ted's more or less like the other 20 people who decided to run. Open shots at the presidency don't come around that often and politicians don't know where they'll be in eight years.

In Ted's case, he's always been a young man in a hurry, and he hasn't exactly been making friends in the Senate, so the White House looked like a good next move. It must have looked that way at the time. A year ago, few predicted that Donald Trump would stay in the race and be winning.
