Complete Headline: The Gloves Are Off: Trump Accuses Hillary Of Being "Involved In Corruption For Most Of Her Professional Life"

It's popcorn time.

Barely 24 hours after Trump launched his first Hillary attack ad in which he showed a laughing Putin respond to a barking Hillary, and shortly after Hillary's SuperPAC responded in kind with an ad of its own in which it used a Trump quote to mock him, the gloves are officially off, and now that both presidential candidates - both convinced they will face off against each other - are beyond the foreplay stage, the gloves have come off and the direct attacks are escalating rapidly.

So rapidly, in fact, that one may say Trump is risking a potential lawsuit with the following accusation (which, however, should not be too difficult to prove should one of Hillary's SuperPACs sue him for libel).

This is what Trump tweeted moments ago.

Hillary Clinton has been involved in corruption for most of her professional life!
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) March 18, 2016

This is more than your typical political ad hominem - this is a material allegation with legal implications that goes to the core of Hillary's biggest weakness, her trustworthiness or complete lack thereof, and Trump's charges will only escalate from here on out, hopefully with actual examples. We look forward to Hillary's response.

One thing is certain: for the next six months, America will be entertained.

“Cruz supporters understand this...and thus understand that Cruz will never get the nomination - either outright, and certainly not in a brokered convention. They know once Cruz lost the South, it was over for him.”

Even Ted himself has understood this for some time now. I think he realized that Trump was going to be the nominee last summer. I think all of the candidates knew it, even if they didn’t want to admit it to themselves. They were all like a bunch of high school football players, standing in the same arena with a real life gladiator.

This contest was over the moment Trump stepped in.

I disagree with you on that....every one is free to say what they want to say....when some one runs for political office we need to no that they are not being bribed....all a speaking fee is to me is a bribe,

Someday most of these Trump supporters will be saying they were always against Trump etc. etc. In fact, I expect to be accused of being a Trump supporter, while they were trying to fight Trump.

Evidently, it was on TV in Beaumont, TX.

And, I’m sure Hillary had no idea it would get so much light.

Those against Trump:

China
Mexican government
Illegal Mexican immigrants
All Islamic States
Muslims
Race hustlers
Left wingers
Hollywood
the media
the democrats
the gopE

and

Cruz supporters.

I’d be ashamed to be in that group.

“Someday most of these Trump supporters will be saying they were always against Trump etc. etc.”

I’d be willing to bet that somwhere, there’s an old dude who’s railed against Reagan from 1979 to the present day.

You’re gonna be that guy one day.

That’s interesting. I’ve never heard the word used before. Had to look it up, thanks. Where are you geographically?

“I’ve never heard the word used before. Had to look it up...”

It’s British. I learned the term when I lived there in the late 80s.

I’m in Texas now.

Oh, believe me, I’d love firm laws that would truly work against this dangerous quid pro quo between industry and public office. I just don’t know how to enforce it completely.

If a videotape and a transcript is not enough to convince you, nothing will.

Once a person is conned, he will often resist seeing through the scam, and reject all evidence, because it is too psychologically uncomfortable to admit they were duped.

Everybody wants to believe he is smarter than the average bear. But there is no shame in being duped by a con man. It just means that you are a good and honest person, who sees the best in other people. Con men take advantage of this natural human tendency.

He needs to keep his powder dry.
Don’t take down Hillary so early until he has the nomination.
He is just weakening her for Mitt Romney, our eventual nominee.

“If a videotape and a transcript is not enough to convince you, nothing will.”

Show me the written details of Trump’s alleged ‘touch-back amnesty’ plan. Where have those details been published? I really want to know.

Come on, brother.

If a determined president uses the power of his office to push though funding for a public works project that the majority of Americans want, it will be built, whether by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, or by private contractors.

It’s a campaign promise the people will hold him to. You’d better believe it’ll be built.
