Krauthammer: I Was Wrong for Laughing at Trump… Democrats Are Worried
Gateway Pundit ^ | March 17,2016 | Jim Hoft

Posted on 03/17/2016 4:47:45 PM PDT by Hojczyk

Charles Krauthammer finally admitted tonight that he was wrong when he laughing at Donald Trump six months ago. The FOX News pundit has been one of Donald Trump’s leading GOP Beltway detractors.

Krauthammer: He’s demonstrated the ability to bring out people who aren’t regular voters, aren’t regular Republicans, and he could alter the map. I think Democrats who thought six months ago, who thought he was a joke, I thought he was a joke for a nominee for the Republican Party, and a lot of people thought as well.

We were all wrong. So he has a capacity to appeal. So we have no way of knowing. But I do think Democrats are beginning to think that this is not a slam dunk and this guy he doesn’t play by the rules. He makes them up. And under a new set of rules she could lose to him.

Does the 37% of the Republican Party that will not vote for Trump in November worry the Democrats too?

They neither worry about it, nor care about it, because they know that the 37% figure is nonsense. Either way, it is now irrelevant. In a dramatic shift over the last few years, ~40% of all voters are now independents, a group which Trump owns (in a big way). So a small loss of Republican voters (smaller than even the 37%), makes much less difference than it would have 5 years ago. Add to that the swing of blue collar Democrats to Trump, which is scaring both the Democrats and the unions to death, and Hillary and the Democrats have more than enough nightmare material. At least, if Trump wins the nomination. If Trump were replaced by Cruz, however, ...

Does the 37% of the Republican Party that will not vote for Trump in November worry the Democrats too?

One of the exit polls on Tuesday night revealed that among Republicans, about the same percentage said they would not vote for Cruz. And about the same percentage said they would not vote for Kasich... although, to be fair, that was taken over only three states.

The percentage of Bernie voters who say they'll not support Hillary is about the same.

It's been a hotly contested race. Emotions among supporters has been high, to say the least. We will unite.

“Does the 37% of the Republican Party that will not vote for Trump in November worry the Democrats too?”

Even if that were true, which it certainly is not, no one would be able to know it; it is one of those statements people grab out of thin air.

If I were a Cruz-bot, and a pollster asked me if I would vote for Trump, I would say no, of course. You never know the agenda behind some of these pollsters.

Don't they know they are little puppets in the establishment dollhouse I get the privilege to peek in and get the "insider skinny "? By the way do they still have the Beltway Boys?

Spoiler - Trump has taken the top of the house and we are seeing what all the rats without their make-up scurrying around.

Its really quite revolting but ultimately its good to know you have a rat problem.

In March of 1980, Ronald Reagan was behind Jimmy Carter by 15 points, 47-32%.

Krauthammer and a few other GOPe have come to the conclusion that outside of the 7 wealthiest ZIP codes around Washington DC ‘the Elites’ are powerless - - powerless without their base - - and we’re ready to walk...

Every one’s thinking the same thing, Hillary could be easily beaten by that man.

Amen.

Folks....Hillary Clinton is an afterthought for Donald J. Trump. She is not even in the same league as Trump!!! What the Trump troops want is to really change America....you do that by destroying the entire Democrat Party!!! You good folks out there hanging on to Ted Cruz & John Kasich are far from the sharpest knives in the drawer. Your salvation is right before your eyes, in the person and organization of Donald J. Trump!!! Go figure!!!

Maybe these folks will wake up and get real...I hope so!!! Otherwise this great nation is lost to socialism & communism combined. You can kiss the First & Second amendment wil be gone. I can tell you with great assurance, ted Cruz & John Kasich will take you folks nowhere but down to defeat!!! Sad!!

Imagine you’re a restaurant patron wanting soup:

Waiter 1 brings you a basket of Tamagotchis. You frame your face with a dejected look and ask for soup.

Waiter 2 brings you a set of used tires. You search his face, squint really hard, shaking your head. “SOUP..!”

Waiter 3 brings you a ziplock bag filled with discarded Barbi heads. You SCREAM you want soup.

Waiter 4 glids up, slips a bowl of soup on the table. You smile:

Waiters 1-3 rush to the kitchen, “THAT GUY IS A FRIGGIN’ GENIUS..!!!!”

Waiter 4 finally comes in, “Bro HOW did you do that...?!?!!?” they all exclaim.

Krauthammer must have had a miraculous change since last night. He was still hating Trump on O’Reilly Wednesday night. He was downright angry even talking about him... didn’t have a kind word anywhere in his dialogue.. O’Reilly doesn’t hate Trump and was trying to get Krauthammer to let up a bit..

I love Charles, but he, like most pundits, fails to see the anger of the American people towards the Illegal Invaders and the absolute cowardice of anyone in government to do anything about it.

They can spin it all they want: "racism", "fear mongering", etc. The Invaders are invaders, and they are law breakers. They come here, squat their anchor babies, collect Trillions in "benefits" that are not theirs, steal jobs, commit horrible crime, clog our Emergency Rooms, destroy our schools, and trash our culture.

And people think this is OK? Who are the crazy ones?

I would say partially. He still will not admit to the good old boy system in Washington.

Hillary and Bill will rue the day Trump took them on. Up until now NO ONE has bothered to touch the Clintons.. that is about to end, and it’s been a long time coming to these 2. A LONG time!

Trump's "poor" results in heads up polls with Hillary, is the last real anybody-but-Trump argument that has any pretense of validity. Obviously, those polls mean nothing, at this point, but expect them to be cited ad nauseam, because that is all the TDS crowd has left.
