Hell, when given a golden opportunity to stand up to the thugs on the left, Ted chose to side with BLM, the OWSers, and La Raza, against Trump.

No, he did not. At no time did Ted "side with" the Left against Trump; that is a false projection.

Cruz criticized Trump's leadership and his rhetorical and campaign style, which is "street" and "straight outta Joizy", as too helpful to the techniques and lies of the Left, like pouring pancake syrup on an infection.

Ted should have said it straighter: "You can't keep doing this, these Alinskyite scum and their MSM allies will eat you alive". But he's basically right, and there's no point in having a cow because he addressed something Donald was doing wrong.

I’m sorry, but you’re simply making excuses for Ted’s truly unfortunate blunder.

You can rail at me that, ‘Ted did no such thing!’, but he did, and most everyone except die-hard Cruz supporters sees it that way.

Ted started his statement off well, and few of us would disagree with a single word of it. But he really should have stopped there, because, up to that point, he sounded like a leader. But no, he just couldn’t help inferring that Donald Trump created the atmosphere which led these leftist scum to violently shut down a peaceful campaign rally.

Yeah. It’s Donald’s fault. He forced George Soros to fund that massive, coordinated assault on free speech and the right of free assembly.

Seriously?

If trump wins I predict he moves hard left to avoid a constant fight with congress and the illegals become citizens and He negotiates with Nancy pelosi for some “common sense gun control”.

Man, you're really pessimitic. Remember how "done, over, dead meat" Ronnie was before the election. The LSM had me believing Carter would be returned to office, and I was shocked when Ronnie ran the table on him.

But why would Trump turn left, if that's where his irritants are? The blowhard Left, scheming liars like Pelosi, guys like Bloomie and Schmucky Chuckie?

If Trump gets within 100 delegates he will be the nominee.

I hope you are right.

It's SO nice to see you again!

We old timers need a vanity thread! It would be far more productive, fun, and interesting than the whinging vanities that have been posted lately. :-)

and now he’s getting endorsements from linda and mitch.

ted can go straight to hell, with the company he’s keeping he’s already there.

ARDENT Ted supporter until he pitted State against State, a HORRIFIC thing to do, with his NY comments. don’t argue that. whatever its values, it’s my home state
Why didn’t he call out states that get more than they give to the Fed. NY aint one of them.

he sends out shame mails

lies about carson dropping out

votes for TPA

votes for Iran

blames trump for people committing violence. even if trump said something jokingly, he was talking to HIS Followers.

his enemies did the violence.

Go sit in the corner and sing your favorite song “Alone in my conservatism” and be the gentleman/woman loser that holds their head high as the country FALLS because YOU VOTED FOR THE REAL CONSERVATIVE.

GT# OUT OF HERE.

Trump never held himself out there to be "MR. PURITY/WALKS ON WATER/MORE CONSERVATIVE THAN THOU"; what he is, is a PATRIOT, a WORKAHOLIC WHO GETS THINGS DONE, and AS SOMEONE TO CUT THROUGH THE PC CRAP. Even though he a 1%er of the 1%, he isn't a damned ELITIST, which already makes him billion times better than anyone else in the mix. Neither does he try to claim that he came from nothing/has nothing, as so many wealthy pols try to do.

All of that makes him very attractive to millions of people!

In his own way, he is us, we are him, and he connects! He loves America and warts and all, he represents EVERYTHING that is RIGHT about America and always way, but which we have been losing hold of for decades!

You're absolutely right re what Hillary or any Dem would do to Cruz. And Cruz has NO idea how to handle that, nor how to fight back and has proved that. If he can't bring down Trump ( and he hasn't ), HOW can he beat Hillary or any Dem?

His ability to man handle and never cower to the MSM is quite impressive. He’s just way better at it than Cruz. It makes him much more electable than Ted.

I reluctantly concur, since I still support and much prefer Cruz, esp. on the question of what will be done with Justice Scalia's open seat -- and RKBA, and many other things that I doubt Trump values.

Remember how nobody gave Reagan a chance? In a sea of liberalism and LIEberalism in the MSM, he still got elected. I was shocked, I was young and believed the MSM were telling it straight (they lied like dogs). What a wonderful surprise!

Do you think there is any chance Cruz could surprise that way? That perhaps we are mistaken to scant Cruz's chances? After all, he does have lower negatives than either Trump or Beastwoman, and he polls better than Donald in a head-to-head with Hillary.

What think you?

Politics is a blood sport and debates on FR are too.

If you are a "pearl clutcher", in need of a fainting couch, and see what I post as "rude", then you'd best stay on gardening, cooking, and music threads.

I posted facts and you play sensitive "victim".

You use passive/aggressive, butter won't melt in your mouth attacks, but claim that I am "mad and angry" ( SIC ) and need "help". Now THAT is rude, uncalled for, and mere projection for your own very real mental problems. Bless your heart.

Cruz has many talents but his chances against Hillary are slim. What additional states can he put in play? He possibly could do it. If he gets the nomination I’ll help him here in my purple state.

Ted supporters call for a "Blacklist"

Blacklisted: Drudge, Coulter, Hannity, Carson, Breitbart, O’Reilly, Christie Make GOP Smart Set’s List of ‘Ideological Hustlers’

Conservative movement professionals in Washington, D.C. are plotting to form a “blacklist” of Donald Trump supporters that they can kick out of the movement, never to return.

http://www.breitbart.com/big-government/2016/03/18/gop-smart-set-plots-blacklist-of-trump-supporters/

Matt Walsh ‎@MattWalshBlog ( So called Christian )

Message to conservative Trump shills who sold the movement out and bowed before Trump: we will never forget, and we don't want you back.

Bitter, unforgiving, resentful. Not qualities you'd expect from a Christian. Seems like Walsh has fallen for the cult of personality.

That's an entry point into another whole discussion about, okay, whom do you want for your "fixit guy" -- someone who's pure of heart, or a reformed sinner who knows where all the ratruns and mouse holes are, and where the vermin go and what they eat?

The example would be FDR's appointment of Joe Kennedy, a notorious speculator and Wall Street wheeler-dealer (and rumrunner, and notorious adulterer with famous women, the Warren Beatty of his time), to repair the damage to public confidence in the Markets done by the Crash and its aftermath.

Bankers did a notorious rat-run as their banks failed, first using depositors' money to try to prop up the market averages, then when it all fell apart, taking cash and their Pierce-Arrows to South America and Europe and leaving their depositors in the lurch. That became universal "common knowledge" with two generations of American voters.

no, it isn’t.

and I don’t bow before anybody but God.

I THINK Trump is the LAST chance of turning this country around and I don’t know if he can do it.

no one else has any chance.

I will give 1000 percent to the Trump campaign and go to the rallies in NY

already called and emailed congressmen to tell them no antics in this election.

those who will stay home instead of vote for Trump will get to hold their heads high while the country FALLS APART around them. hope it’s enough solace.

In spite of these polls, Hillary is a horrible candidate. Cruz isn't horrible, but he's got limited appeal, He might still win because she's just so awful.

From your keyboard, FRiend, to God's ears. Exaudi nos Domine!
