Grand Old Primary-Trump: I consult myself [1st] on foreign policy
Politico ^ | 03/16/2016 | Eliza Collins

Donald Trump finally shared the name of someone he consults on foreign policy: himself.

Asked on MSNBC's "Morning Joe" who he talks with consistently about foreign policy, Trump responded, "I'm speaking with myself, number one, because I have a very good brain and I've said a lot of things."

"I know what I'm doing and I listen to a lot of people, I talk to a lot of people and at the appropriate time I'll tell you who the people are," Trump said. "But my primary consultant is myself and I have a good instinct for this stuff."

Does anyone really think Trump would drop names of his advisors??

If he did, some reporter would “claim” she was raped by this advisor (despite evidence to the contrary).

Trump is learning well to play this close to the chest.

hahahah. This guy is amazing with dealing with the media. He doesn’t give them what they want. He doesn’t answer the way they want and with the words they want and it drives them crazy. Yes, it is possible to have your own view and perspective without 1000 consultants telling you what to do and what is acceptable

In other words....it's none of your damn business.

The idea of the question is to find out a name...a name that they can research in order to prepare "a hit".

Trump is wise!!

I’m not sure he needs a VP or cabinet. Carl Icahn has said he won’t serve.

Sorry folks, that's not brilliant, tricky or even great, great! This is Trump...ignorant and egotistical. It's stupid.

If he wins, there's going to be lot of back tracking on FR over the following 4 years.

The guys who meet for coffee in the morning at my local McDonald’s have a better track record than the experts.

Such a sophisticated analysis. I presume you have determined that most people who make huge fortunes in business are "ignorant".

From the way Donald talks, I doubt he can think at all. Donald emotes, he does not reason.

Actually there was some general as well as Guiliani who both said that Trump is consulting with them and both said he is a very good listener and very smart.

Don’t remember the name of the general but it was someone quite respected.

That would explain why he has been so wrong so often and knows so little.

Our Donald is an absolute master of the NON-ANSWER. He does it as well as anyone I’ve seen.

GWB said something similar, “I know my own mind.” I don’t see a problem with this. Trump shouldn’t name-drop his advisors. It projects, as the media put it in GWB’s case, a lack of “gravitas”.

“From the way Donald talks, I doubt he can think at all. Donald emotes, he does not reason.”

Yep, that is the secret of his success, the reason he flies around in his very own 757. A lot of us would like to think less and emote more. Would be so much richer.

Of course, some people have TDS so severely that they can only emote.

Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn, Obama’s Defense Intelligence Agency chief for a time, has been advising Trump on foreign policy.

“because I have a very good brain and I’ve said a lot of things.”

I can’t keep track of all the changes though so why bother listening to anyone with “intelligence” since I will be president and don’t have to listen to anyone. I only listen to my lawyers when I want to sue someone, otherwise everyone kisses my behind and does what I say or they are fired. Won’t need them when I am president since I will have the FBI, NSA, DOinJ, CIA, and the military who ALL have to obey my orders.

Yup, I am the man.
