Yeah. Nothing says “inclusive” like picking an all-white all-rich ticket based solely on gender. (Were they clearly the most competent choices, fine, but it’s absolutely clear that’s not the dominant criteria here.)

Interesting question. Hillary comes across as physically tired and she's not the most engaging speaker; even with a canned speech.
Logically, if logic ever enters into these things, she shouldn't pick another woman. It both overloads the demographic and it again invites comparison with Hillary. So she's left looking for a guy who is dull, low energy, and not threatening.
