I disagree. Trump is not a Democrat. Neither is he a Liberal. Or a Conservative. Or a Republican. Trump is Trump. Trump is RANDOM. I can live with random. We’ve lost everything of substance for 30 years. I’m completely ready for randomly winning half the time.I vote for candidates with core beliefs, not those who swing the way the media wants.

I’m a fully 100% Double Maxed Cruz contributor. So I’m totally with you on the ideological purity thing.
But if we can’t have that, I’ll take my random wins (Trump) over complete losses (Bush / Clinton / Bush / 0bama / GOP House / GOP Senate) any time.
