“JFK’s favorite quote from Dante: The hottest places in hell are reserved for those who in time of moral crisis maintain their neutrality.”

Good words to remember.

I wasn’t so much disappointed by Kasich and Rubio since they are both linguini spined, but I was sure disappointed by Cruz. I thought he had more character than just wanting to score some cheap political points.

Kascih and Rubio are GOPe amnesty pimping losers but I would’ve expected more from Cruz.

Has Cruz and his girly supporters declared that it's un-Constitutional for Republicans to defend themselves?

In the minds of the Constitution worshipers, non-Liberals must always supplicate themselves to Liberals.

The only proper response to Liberal hatred, invective, and violence is to debate them on the nuances of the Constitution.

We must explain to Liberals that what they're doing is wrong, un-American, and un-Constitutional. We must educate rabid insane Liberal animals on the proper ways to behave.

“Can one imagine how the media would pile on Trump if working-class white males in Trump T-shirts invaded a Hillary Clinton rally and shut it down?”

Unless they were on a paid vacation, most working-class white males would be busy working and managing their own lives before they’d do anything like that. Even then, they’d probably have bigger fish to fry.

Ann Coulter called Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) and Fox News ‘traitors’ for blaming Donald Trump for dangerous protesters shutting down a Friday-night rally in Chicago, blistering Trump’s primary rival on Twitter.

When the ‘forefathers’ of these Lefties marched in Chicago to brownshirt the Democratic National Convention in 1968 William F. Buckley Jr. said on ABC-TV, where he was a commentator, that the Leftists were ‘crypto-fascists’.

And they are today and the GOP candidates should have minced no words in honestly describing the situation.

The senior citizen who slugged the protester who was already on his way out with security was looking for a fight. To try to pretend otherwise is just fooling yourself. Cruz has had protesters and handled them without encouraging assault and battery. The bad guys are the obnoxious protesters, as Cruz has also said, but a leader sets the tone, even in a rally.

Pat Buchanan is hated by the Republican establishment and the media because he tells the truth. He is almost always right.

This time Pat Buchanan nailed it perfectly. He described what is really happening in the Republican Party.

Contrast Pat Buchanan with the National Review.

Around here, what old folks saw in Chicago this past weekend was deeply disturbing. We remember what happens when the anti-American agenda takes over. Radicals had organized to use that rally to bring Ferguson and Baltimore style chaos to a portion of Chicago, and blame it on Trump.

Rubio and Cruz weren't even born when the 1968 riots occurred. They have no cultural memory of those horrific times, so they enable those who would tear the nation down. Kasich was 16 at the time, so he should know better. Did he say even ONE WORD praising the police in Cincinnati, Dayton, and Cleveland?

NONE of them are saying that those opposed to Trump have the right to go and listen to a candidate they oppose, but that's as far as those rights extend. They have no right to be there with the sole attempt of depriving his supporters of our first amendment rights.

It was just plain wrong for the other candidates to not rally around the protection of our rights. Instead they enabled the dark side. Disgusting.

Stuck in a car yesterday...wound up listening to news on the radio...every broadcast blamed the activities of the Sanders brownshirts, MoveOn, Soros toadies and such on DONALD TRUMP...each and every hour. Blatant lies, and yet the media repeated them at the top of every hour. The ONLY talk radio speaking truth lately is Michael Savage.

The silence form the members of Congress is telling as well.

Anyone hear from McConnell, Ryan, McCarthy?

Our illustrious Senators?

Our wonderful Congressmen?

Reince Preibus?

Karl Rove?

Silence is consent.

What Cruz and the rest did was to give credence to Obama when he says we have ourselves to blame for dissing allah when the Muzzies slaughter innocents. And made the ploy by Hillary seem to make sense - if the video really was widespread, then that made it OK for Federal thugs to harass the maker of it to support Hillary's lies.

The funny thing is that Cruz recently tried to twist it when he told a heckler that the difference between him and Trump is that he supported free speech and wouldn't tell anyone to punch the guy in the face - - - as the guy was escorted out for speaking up.......

Micro Rubio is over. He will lose today and will be relelgated to the dustbins of history.

Katsup is running for VP. If the Donald is smart he will pick someone else, anyone else.

Teddy the Cruzer is a congenital liar.He has the Glen Beck,I talk like a minister syndrome, as well. He will go back to being a Senator until the people of Texas figure out what a NWO stooge he really is.

I just wish Cruz would have said something like:

We need to learn to have disagreements without being disagreeable. To have disagreements while respecting human beings on the other side. Earlier today over thirty people were arrested at one rally. And then tonight, as violence broke out, the rally was canceled all together. Now, the responsibility for that lies with protesters who took violence into their own hands.

Oh wait, he did. Placed 'responsibility' for the 'violence' on the 'protesters'. Then he continued:

But in any campaign responsibility starts at the top. Any candidate who is responsible for the culture of the campaign. And when you have a campaign that disrespects the voters, when you have a campaign that affirmatively encourages violence, when you have a campaign that is facing allegations of physical violence against members of the press, you create an environment that only encourages this sort of nasty discourse.

Seems to me when Obama said '...bring a gun', people on this site wanted to hold him responsible for what he said. When a Cruz supporter/staffer repeated a CNN story, again here on FR, people talked about the 'culture' of his campaign, and wanted to hold Cruz responsible. Now many of these same people are crying foul when their candidate (not a supporter/staffer, the actual candidate) is called out the same way. (I am assuming that 'knock the crap out of' was DT saying something that Cruz thought 'encourages violence' - maybe an unfair assumption? I guess yesterday Rush called it one of DTs endearing traits...)

What is disappointing to me is that how many of these stories about Cruz have been perpetuated here on FR. I agree he has made mistakes in this campaign, but the groundswell of false accusations is hard to deal with.

I miss the way FR used to handle the truth, no matter who else stood firm...even when 'our guy' or 'our gal' said something.
