Kasich: Deporting 11 Million and Having Mexico Pay for a Wall a ‘Goofy Fantasy’
Breitbart ^ | 11/1/15 | Pam Key

Posted on 03/14/2016 8:57:02 AM PDT by jimbo123

Sunday on CNN’s “State of the Union,” Republican presidential candidate Gov. John Kasich (R-OH) said while he doesn’t want to attack candidates, he will attack his rival Donald Trump’s “goofy” plan to deport 11 million people because he argues those proposals “hurt the Republican Party.”

Kasich said, “I will criticize programs, and plans that I think are goofy. Which I did in the last debate. You know, things like shipping 10 million or 11 million people out of this country, or some fantasy that we’re going to get the Mexican government to pay for the wall

I kind of disagree with your rising price of fast food. Although it will result in higher wages, it WILL make room for the college kids, or kids to earn for higher education. It will also free up the labor for the inner cities for those who are not able to find employment.
At that time, enforce another workfare system to force these out of the welfare system.

There is virtually no reason for the crony capitalist to use illegal immigration for cheap slave labor.

And, like I said, and you said, it will result in slightly higher wages, after the labor market dries up. Remember when kids out of high school used to be able to get those jobs for the summer to help pay for their education?

I don’t remember anyone saying Mexico would be willing to pay for a fence or wall. It is possible to make it happen though. We give all sorts of aid and assistance to Mexico, their businesses, and citizens. It is possible to make a deal with them they cannot refuse.

But there is no way in hell Mexico is going to pay for the wall.

Maybe the Mexican government won't, directly, but their citizens in this country can by paying a tax on remittances from this country to Mexico.

I would like to see a good portion of those fines going to law officers wages and retirement. Just think. With all the retirment shortfalls, a simple arrest of say 100 illegals would bring in a exceptional amount of money to offset those costs at that local law agency.

For the cities that habor these criminals? They lose all their federal funding.

There are a lot of reasons for recognizing that deporting 12 million or so, here illegally, would not be so massive a job as the Governor chooses to believe. If thee is a will, there are several ways.

But let us consider another perspective. If you want to contemplate a great human effort--a major project of a people--consider how the original American States were settled in the Colonial settlers' era? No the numbers were vastly smaller; but that is not the point. The point is the birth of the culture, that politicians like the Governor are no longer willing to defend.

Consider the struggle of a handful of settlers, at a time, clearing a frontier wilderness; building cabins, planting crops, surviving a brutal winter, possible Indian assaults, etc.. Then gradually struggling until they not only had enough produce stored to face the next winter, and then enough more to sell or barter to others; to gradually begin climbing the ladder to the greatest prosperity anyone had ever known.

It is the future of those for whose generation by generation achievement, their forebears risked everything, that is at stake in securing our borders; in securing our right to again control our own destiny; that this campaign is all about. And the Governor is unable to identify with whose interests best reflect the issue at hand.

Could we get some real facts as to how many migrant and/or illegal aliens we deported after the first world war and after the second world war? I have heard that the number on each occasion was somewhere near 12 million. Does anyone have any factual data to support or disprove these numbers?

However, President Eisenhower DEPORTED 6 MILLION.

If a family; husband, wife and children are here - maybe they would be willing to submit to a blood test to see if they’re related .. if not, they would get deported.

We have to stop allowing this to continue; it’s destroying our country. But, those who are proposing this wholesale import of non-American citizens .. are doing it for one reason .. to cause chaos and destroy America from within.

And .. all those people allows the terrorists to infiltrate into America, and we are going to look like Iraq. In case, that’s what you’re wanting .. Me .. not so much.

You are exactly correct and I do not understand why Trump doesn’t make this clear...it really is simple.
No one is advocating kicking down doors and rounding up illegals and bussing them back to old Mexico.

In fact, if every illegal that breaks any law is processed for deportation, or prosecution, there would be a lot of self-deportation.

Don’t understand why Trump doesn’t take this position?

Yes, I have heard that; but I have not been able to find out how many, or who they were, and where they were deported to. If you find out that info; I would really like to know.

Thanks.

They can self deport. How about cutting off all welfare to illegals to start?

It is goofy thinking that a neighboring country can send millions of its citizens into another country illehally and not expect blowback. This guy should have his citizenship revoked and be sent to Mexico.

Sign an executive order which declares; Any person caught in the country illegally will have any and all property they are in possession of, residing in or just a passenger in will be seized and forfeited to pay for their deportation. That includes money, automobiles and houses regardless of ownership.
In other words, if someone is giving an illegal a ride to the store and they get pulled over their car will be impounded. Renting to illegals? There goes your house. Employing illegals? Automatic $10k fine for each.
Any illegal who marries a citizen will still be deported unless they have been married at least one year. And will be deported if said marriage terminates within five years.
Being born here to illegal parents will not ensure citizenship.
Said order would also stipulate that each person here illegally who is caught shall be sentenced to six months hard labor at the border, building that goofy wall.
Imagine the mass exodus southward.
