I guess you can call this a Rush opus.

Ditto! (No pun intended.)

Thanks, I figured you did but maybe there is a glitch in the system.

Ok, but I asked if he ever told anyone ELSE to “punch someone.” Saying “I’d like to punch him” is quite different.

...I don’t get why certain organizations & commentators, are willing to go all-in, knowing they won’t recover.

They are convinced that we are irredeemably stupid. Facts have proven them to be correct in the past. (include myself in this) We little squirrels seem to have been given an acorn this time.

Hannity refused to name Cruz Friday nite

Flat out refused

Juan Williams did to Sean’s face and Sean bristled

Aren’t you pissed off at all that paid goons picked Chicago on purpose, knowing they’d be enabled by Emmanuel and have thousands turn out?

I have not been able to understand why Trump picked Chicago to make a speech. I am for Trump but it seems to me that would have been the last place I would have had a rally.

Does anyone else find it knee-slappingly funny that Rush decries gloom-and-doom campaign tactics by the left and literally in the same breath uses gloom-and-doom tactics to sell Lifelock and phone breakage insurance?

No.

But I do want to make something clear. In 2008, Rush was vehement that Romney met the three legs of conservatism test. In '12, he swore up and down he didn't. IMHO, Romney ran more to the right in '12 than he did in during the primaries of '08. I can't recall any positions that he softened. The litmus test moved further to the right during the intervening 4 years.

So just because Trump will be the standard bearer, don't believe that Limbuagh will give his stamp of approval.

As I’ve said before;

I’m done with career politicians and if Trump puts a knife in my back, then I’m no worse off than I am now.

I’m betting he doesn’t and actually wants to run an America first administration. He doesn’t need this job but has put himself in mortal danger for it.

For that, I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt.

YMMV

Yeah, I think it's coming to this: There is the conservative wing of the Republican party. They spout their conservative wisdom, but they never get their way within the party or in Congress. They always lose important primaries, but when they do, they go along and support the winner, no matter if it is Arlen Specter or Thad Cochran, or John McCain or Willard Romney.

Then there is me. I am a conservative American, not a member of a party. I left the Republican party around 2006 during the amnesty battle, and now, I hate the Republican party much more than the Democrat party. We would have defeated the Democrat party decades ago, if it were not for the Republican party as it was constructed beginning with the first Bush. Democrats, we can handle. They are honest about hating us. Republicans have used lies to move the Democrat agenda while convincing the conservative majority of this country that they were fighting as hard as they could. It has been a perfect symbiotic relationship.

Trump threatens the status quo. He is taking the party back as a prelude to ending the dance with the Democrats. Once the party is no longer run by corrupt hacks, maybe, just maybe, a conservative American may want to be a member. Maybe we'll even let Rush rejoin us in the good fight, once his GOPe has been defeated.

Many of the anti-Trump commentators are former liberal Democrats who’ve actually never voted for a “Republican” because many of them went with 3rd party write-ins, if conservative at all.

I believe you’re right—they are typical Dems, who talk down to “you people”, use lingo that is repetitive and insulting, and in general think we are all too stupid to “get it”.

Next year they’ll all be rolling in the dough as they cash-in on anti Trump shows.

No Limbaugh is for the Establishment Character, but he does not want to tell his audience who is mostly Pro Trump.

Rush was all for Jeb a year ago. Then we went over the Rubio camp. Which has imploded.

Now he is pushing Cruz, but does not want to fully commit because he’s afraid it’s going to be Trump.

He went after Trump by taking Michelle Fields side.

Rush is CLEARLY for the Establishment.

Did you forget the way he carried the water for. W. Bush?

No Rush is CLEARLY an Establishment Republican. He just does not want to lose his audience.

It wasn’t smart thinking at all, going into Rahm Emmanuel country where the police are already do-nothings, and knowing so many militant groups are in Chicago, the ground-zero of activism.

And at night!

These showdowns can be avoided if Trump avoids the urban areas where they have easy access to mass transit & police who are under Dem + BLM influences.

Stick to having rallies in the light of day, in suburban areas! Why take it to urban areas where the only people who live there, are likely not Trump supporters? These are rallies, not voting recruitment events!
