I've noticed that Cruz is very un-self aware. He wouldn't behave the way he does or speak in that unctuous, pious ‘more in sorrow than in anger’ tone if he was at all aware of how he comes across. He probably smiles and lights up a congratulatory cigar when he sees himself on tv.

Just because you highlight one part of what he says doesn't make everything else in the sentence something that wasn't said. I am a great swimmer but I can't swim. That's basically what that sentence comes across as and it was done purposefully. This guy is a lawyer and a politician. All he does is try to hide his words just like the rest of them.

Here's Cruz' latest quote today, now Trump wanting his space (that he paid for) is "punishing protestors":

Sen. Ted Cruz said Monday that GOP presidential front-runner Donald Trump views protesters as disloyal people worthy of punishment and that the best response to Mr. Trump is to defeat him at the ballot box, reiterating his own pledge to support the eventual Republican nominee in the fall.

Mr. Cruz re-upped criticism of Mr. Trump for recently having rally attendees pledge their support to him, likening it to an action kings and queens demand of their subjects.

“It’s also reflected in his treatment of protesters, where anyone who’s a protester is disloyal and must be punished,” Mr. Cruz told reporters in Illinois ahead of the March 15 primary there.

I have been wanting to ask one of the avid Trump supporters a question. Your comment about Trump trying to implement his policy, and failure not being for lack of trying, makes me think you are a good one to ask. With his record on most issues wavering from one side to the other over the years, how do you know this? That belief would be the one thing that would make me think that Trump is not a wasted vote.

“I was at the event and took video that showed Fields was not touched. I DID NOT SEE ANY ASSAULT.” (Tweets denying attendance then deleted by photog).

Video3, different angle: Michelle Fields is passed by, remains standing, does not wince, stumble, or fall to the ground, continues to smile as entire entourage passes by.

Michelle Fields: numerous appearances, tweets, a photo depicting bruising, calls for Trump campaign manager to apologize for “assaulting” her, reluctantly files complaint against Lewandowski, based on “eyewitness” testimony suggested by WashPo reporter doing negative story.

Trump Deranged: Calls for Lewnadowski to resign, Trump to end his candidacy, challenges to Trump to apologize for “thug” brutality against reporter; followed by (surprise!) a big violent protest shutting Trump down, for being “violent”, followed by Neil Bush immediately appearing on CNN, to denounce Trump “thug” behavior & advocating violence.

People continue to get suckered into playing along!
