Tuesday morning the damage effect will be diminishing returns, so the press will make a quick mention that it was all a misunderstanding so nobody can question press credibility from that point forward.

Each contrived controversy is run for about five days, then they issue the next one to start working. That's been the pattern for months.

The next big controversy should begin probably Thursday morning and run up til the next debate. The debate will aid in the one after that.
