Cruz takes radical Leftist Move On Dot Org and Black Lives Matter position that Trump caused them to attack.

I have lost so much respect for Ted Cruz taking radical left side.

Cruz sides with Terrorist like Bill Ayers over his own party.

Despicable and desperate.

After this I will NEVER vote for Cruz. He has officially jumped the shark.

So the world was a peaceful loving place, and leftist agitators and disruptor's where no where to be found, until Donald told one of his supporters to “punch that guy in the face.”

Is that what we are supposed to believe. One moment everything is peace and love, then suddenly the world is thrown into turmoil and anarchy breaks out, all due to Trump.

The left has used violence for years(The Hay Market Riots, 1886 bomb throwing) riots ever since. Indeed a good project would be list all riots since the Civil War. Normal political methods will no longer work, we have entered the age of massive mobs raging through the streets.

Watch the video. Trump said “No” the middle finger did not justify a sucker punch. He said I want to look into it.

Trump wants all the facts. He will not take sides without facts unlike Obama sideing with Trayvon and Henry Gates.

Cruz, and most of the GOPe as well as the media, are too young to remember the years from LBJ to Ronald Reagan, Berkely, Kent State, etc., where there were paid tireless communist “community activists” agitating the young, particularly college students, stirring the pot, making all sorts of trouble. LBJ decided not to run again because of them, when Nixon had all but won the Vietnam war, this 5th column in our country along with their accomplices in the media, not to mention opportunistic democrats in congress, destroyed Nixon, supposedly it was over Watergate, but it was not really, it was because Nixon, for all of his failings, was a strong anti-communist and staunchly pro-American (as was LJB to his credit.) And had won the war in Vietnam. These people intended to make sure the war was lost in Paris.

These people were not alive when the “Symbionese Liberation Army” kidnapped Patti Hearst, they do not know about the Chicago Riots at the democrat convention in 1967, or how these agitators hounded both Hubert Humphrey and Richard Nixon. The name, S. I. Hayakawa, would draw a blank stare from them.

What happened in Chicago (again!!!!) is not new, this is what happens when a strong man (or woman) emerges on the scene to try to put our country back to rights, to stop this trend toward socialism/communism and godless immorality.

I remember going to Reagan rally in California, it was huge, thousands of people, and perhaps 50-150 of those agitators were their painted faces, hippie clothes, and great big anti-American, anti-Reagan signs. And the media of course, when they covered those Reagan (Trump-size) rallies did not show the huge crowds, all they showed were those crazy agitators.

I remember standing in that crowd next to a group of them, lining up to raise their banner. The people around them, knowing that is what the TV cameras would show on the evening news, grabbed that banner and prevented it from being raised. And others started screaming at those protesters, to wash their faces and go get a job. Somebody had a cup of soda in his (or her hand) and threw it on them, and then other people started doing the same including their chicken salad as well (the local Rep party was selling chicken salad and soda as a fund raiser, it was very good chicken salad, and I was not going to waste mine on those idiot protectors.) Those protesters just stood there, too scared to do anything, thank goodness. I think if they had not shut up, there were people so fed up with this nonsense they might have hurt them.

So don’t tell me that Donald Trump is responsible for this. I know better. Ronald Reagan had a very pleasant personality, he would never have condoned what happened to those protesters in our little cluster of that crowd if he knew about it; he did not most certainly did not foster that environment, nor did he start it.

But that anger, that pent up violence came from the people who are fed up these professional agitators who have been doing their level best to destroy this country, and all the free countries of the world, for most of the 20th century!

But after all Ted Cruz is a Canadian, so why would he be expected to know this?

Trump said, there’s a report that some is going to try to throw tomatoes tonight.

If you see someone doing that, clobber them.

Now every anti-Trump knuckle dragger is repeating only the part about clobbering anti-Trump people.

We even have FReepers doing it.

Folks sure don’t mind being played by the Left.

Trump didn’t cause them to attack, but the problem with his irresponsible rhetoric is that it deprived him of unified support against them. People on FR have been cheering about the hostile, verbally and occasionally physically violent environment at his rallies, but they should realize that this gives the left an excuse and also drives away supporters.

This is particularly true since many of the verbal and even physical attacks of Trump and his followers were not against raving leftists, but against legitimate GOP rivals and their supporters or simply people who were suspected of not supporting him 100% - or even against members of the press who were just covering the event. This does not make friends and influence people.

What he needs to do is knock off the provocative, violent rhetoric (which I see he has not done) and just go through the normal legal procedures. I was at several rallies for GWB in Florida where there were disruptors, and it was handled simply by giving a clear statement at the start - no campaign literature, slogans or clothing from any other campaign or opposing party; this is a private event and we reserve the right to expel people who do not abide by these rules; and the hiring of a bunch of off-duty cops to keep order. Also, people were asked to open their jackets or overcoats at the door (to show they were not wrapping themselves in a banner or, for that matter, armed) and the second time around had to pass through metal detectors. And this was years ago.

My question is how these people even got into the event to begin with - it’s obviously not well organized if that many people can flood the venue. So possibly Trump wanted this, thinking it would get him support, or possibly he has a lousy team in charge of these events.

Agreed!

Hey Cruz, how many Trump supporters have rushed Bernie or Hillary? It's the BLM (supported by Obama), MoveOn.org, etc.

Disgusting!

The radical positions is to ask people to punch protestors in the face.

Trump has taken on all sorts of radical leftist positions. He blamed George @ for 9/11. He said George W Bush lied us into war. He has openly said “this is not a republican position but...” on issues. He has flip flopped all over the place. Yet you blame Cruz for taking a leftist position because Cruz thinks it is wrong to ask rally goers to punch dissenters in the face?

Trump is unfit for high office. I will never support him.

Geez!

What a bunch of idiot ninnies.

Trump has loose lips. He was not encouraging violence, but that will be the MSM meme. He is a moderate Democrat they cannot control or predict.

Cruz is not siding with Bill Ayers. He is a constitutional conservative who could do a better job at playing politics. He has my vote, but if Trump wins, he gets it.

It’s time to grow up out there. I can’t prescribe medicine for hysteria.

I voted for Cruz in the primary, and I hate him saying this.
Now liberals AND many Republicans are taking what is essentially the position that conservative opinions stated in public are fighting words, thus justifying assault on those who utter them without taking it back or cowering in apology.
