Trump wasn't a declared presidential candidate in May.
BTW I don't agree with him on this.

Of course that was a taunt.
Did you read somewhere that taunting and free speech can’t occur at the same time?
How did Trump taunt BLM, white college punks, and La Raza?

I think Trump is personality driven. His opinion of individuals overrides what little ideological foundation he has. In this case, he doesn’t like Pamela Geller, so her event was bad in his view. Months later, however, he turns around and (correctly) calls for a halt to Muslim immigration.

He owes her an apology, she could actually be a good advocate for him.

Pathetically sad that Team Cruz insists on siding with the rioters instead of just this one putting down their emotional base hysteria and actting like adults.
But no problem. You will learn Tue just how stupid this spin attempt has been

"See, in the good old days this didnt use to happen, because they used to treat them very rough. Weve become very weak."
"I'd like to punch him in the face," Trump said, remarking that a man disrupting his rally was escorted out with a smile on his face. "He's smiling, having a good time."

Trump was wrong about this. But there is no perfect candidate. Trump is right about a lot more than he is wrong. On balance, he is a good man.

Trump’s allowed to change his mind, evolve, clarify, and tell “jokes” about shooting people. Nobody else is, though. That’s just Donald being Donald.

Nice try to take the heat off of Lyin Ted who actually argued against the 1st amendment last night. Mr PC. Not much of a leader. He will soon be back in the senate reading Green Eggs And Ham. :-)

Pamela Geller 'Taunting Everybody' With Muhammad Event (May 2015)
It's depressing how completely the American Left has turned it's back on free speech rights.
To: RginTN
He’s right! Christians and Jews need to appease Muslims more.
To: RginTN
I didn't entirely agree with what Geller did. On the other hand, when there was a plot to do violence and terrorism on the event, that was barely stopped, I WOULDN'T see that as an opportunity to criticize her.
I don't agree with what some do to belittle and discriminate against Christianity, but I would be completely opposed to someone trying to do what those two men did against Geller's event to anti-Christians.
To: RginTN
Pamela Geller is a hero and true leader. She knew the terrorists wanted to cancel her event and despite death threats against her she bravely showed up for her event and stood the thugs down.
