Does Trump Or His Supporters Have Grounds To Sue?

Does Trump and or his supporters have grounds to sue either or both the University of Illinois-Chicago and Bernie Sanders and or his campaign? I am not a lawyer, so any out there please feel free to help.

1. The University of Illinois-Chicago rented the space to Trump. Doesn’t the University have a responsibility to provide the rental space suited for its intended purpose? At the inception of a commercial lease, a landlord impliedly warrants that the premises are suitable for their intended purpose and that there are no latent defect in the property that the landlord knew or should have known about that would prevent the use of the premises for its known intended purpose.

2. The University also did not provide enough security to prevent the problem.

3. Bernie Sanders campaign may or may not have coordinated the shutdown of the Trump campaign event. Would this be a violation of Trumps and his supporter’s 1st Amendment rights?

Namely freedom of speech, right to peaceably assemble and prohibiting the petitioning for a governmental redress of grievances. Remember Sanders is a sitting US Senator, a member of the government.

4. The University of Illinois-Chicago also violated Trumps and his supporter’s 1st Amendment rights of freedom of speech, right to peaceably assemble. Remember the University receives Federal funding so should they also follow Federal Laws?

So if neither Trump nor his supports have any grounds to sue over this matter, then there would be nothing to stop Trump and his supports from caring out the same actions to shut down Sander's and Clinton's events!

Go where the money is. Sue Soros. He’s the one that was behind all that BS.

I wish this sorry POS terrorist (yes, Soros is a terrorist) would just fade away.

The police scanner said that protesters were smashing cars in the parking garage with bats. Hopefully there is security video.

Trump wouldn’t sue the university. Not their fault and that wouldn’t be received well. The university shouldn’t collect the rent under the circumstances.

The liable culprit is moveon.org and the other leftist groups they coordinated with. They organized the attack on Trump’s rally.

But Trump probably doesn’t want to tie himself up in a lawsuit right now.

This is why I urge people to watch for the money changing hands—that’s the hard evidence for bringing a lawsuit. If someone is paying goons to assault someone, that is actionable in civil court. Don’t waste your energy waiting for a criminal prosecution. How do these protestors get where they’re going? Who charters the bus? Do the stay in a hotel, with room service? You might see them checking in or out when you travel!

One of the big mistakes was the police saying they could handle anything...and it sure wasn't us who told Donald to cancel.

Since when is it their call in the first place. And they could handle anything is BS.

Just waiting for a fight...and billy clubbing a few folks would really arouse the protest capital of the world.

Then they could really blame Trump.

They can't even handle their own city...no less a 10,000 person rally.

You do know that this is the University that hires Bill Ayers to teach classes. And Ayers was out there demonstrating at the Trump rally. So for this University its pretty much par for the course. Its not like Circle Campus has hard working teachers or students. Its pretty lame but gets a huge amount of money from every government or company it can suck from.

Aside from the money, these various groups have conspired
across state lines to violate Mr.Trumps civil right to
political expression.

RICO!

I’d like to see a bill sent for police services, and the disruption of the event sent to the protest organizers - it was illegal after all

Money—always follow the money trail. It will tell you every thing you need to know, and will provide the evidence.

From the standpoint of the rented space...

I would think the greatest real estate mogul on the planet would not sign an agreement that did not suit his needs...

What is he going to sue for...his people not reading the agreement?

Into the ground, I hope.

I will never set foot in that damn place ever again.

I’d rather go to Detroit.

I sincerely doubt the Sander’s campaign had any prior knowledge of what transpired...

He’s not that insane...
