No. They saw Ted Cruz show de facto solidarity with organized Left-wing lawbreakers who were engaged in a criminal conspiracy to infringe on the Right of the People to Peaceably Assemble.

Ted Cruz is directly responsible for alienating some of his (former) supporters. He's been exposed as a naked opportunist, and he deserves all the blowback he's receiving from his own (former) supporters...

It just occurred to me that Ted may lose some high profile endorsements over this. The press, ever eager to pit one Republican against another, will quickly begin shoving microphones in the faces of public figures who’ve pledged their support for Ted.

I wonder how many of them will back away from him, and how many will double down? There’s a huge moral test coming up, starting Monday.

False. If any true Cruz supporters have left, and I suspect some have, they have not read the entire Cruz statement, but rather the truncated portion that the anti-Cruz media, the left and the trumpbots have posted on the Internet.
