Trump was part of the democrat machine that you are so mad about. I’m mad at him. He has done more damage to this country than all the protesters at his rallys ever will.

Trump was a high level business mogul, not a politician. Like every other high level business mogul in this country (and others), he donated to politicians on both sides, just to keep their bloody fangs out of his hide, and to keep his enterprises safe from bureaucratic hit men.
He's discussed this many times, and does not hide the fact that he was forced to do business with politicians, or suffer the consequences. It's a system he abhors.
