What a fabulous idea! As children become less and less mentally and emotionally mature and independent at any age (not just my opinion - scientifically proven), let’s lower the voting age.

I would suggest the same ‘legal’ thinking would apply to infants in the womb who would be born before actually being born. Using this thinking, infants in the womb should not be denied the right to life they would acquire just because they haven’t yet been born.

This has been a law in many states for a long time. If a person will turn 18 before the General Election, they are allowed to vote in the primary.
