Thursday at the CNN Republican presidential debate, Donald Trump said when he told CNN’s Anderson Cooper “Islam hates us,” he meant “a lot of them” and he will “stick with exactly” with his comments.

Hmmm. Man is this guy all over the map. “A lot” could mean anything.
He could just mention things like 9/11, Iran calling us the “great satan”, taking American hostages in 1979, taking US sailors hostage, the many murders of American citizens both in and outside the US by Muslims in the name of Islam, and so much more.
Go look at some of the tapes of the celebrations in Muslim countries after 9/11. Its pretty much all of them.
It is the beauty of what he does. His herky-jerky, incomplete sentence speaking style allows his worshipers to fill in the blanks with whatever they want him to be.
Come on Donald...don’t start retreating now...you were RIGHT about Muslims hating America.
There are 1.6 Billion muslims in the world. If even 1% of them hate us...that’s ALOT.

ALL people (yes, YOU!) use “all” many times daily when they mean “some or most.” You, in your little Trump-hatin’ heart, know it’s true. Trump speaks English. Your guy Cruz speaks Washington-ese which is PRECISELY why he is in trouble and cannot resonate. People (yes, “all” people) are sick of the qualifiers and the nuance.
Very few (qualified enough for you?) people believe that ALL Muslims hate us, but most? Absolutely. It’s proven in survey after survey. But, again, this comment and attitude are precisely why Cruz is going nowhere.
All Muslims hate us? Most Muslims hate us? Many Muslims hate us?
Any of the above sentiments demonstrate 100% more balls than any of the other candidates. Which is to say, all you hear from them is crickets because they are cowards. Trump is the only one with any courage among the whole lot.
It’s like being challenged on a short post in an internet chat board (like FR): a brief comment using well understood colloquial terms is criticized for not being exactly correct, in depth, peer reviewed, with legal and encyclopedic thoroughness.
Donald Trump doesn’t express himself very well at all.
Not to worry, the trumpers will come to his rescue and tell us what he meant.
