I'm an hour behind listening to Rush. But his summary of what Trump said about Tiananmen Square is way off, isn't it?

Words mean things and Trump never admired what China did, he just said it took strength - Trump made that point with the questioner.

How did Rush get on the (wrong) side on this? Rush can't seem to listen to the meaning of Trump's words.

I think that Rush is upset that that debate last night wasn’t a big one for Teddy. He wanted Ted to be the star.

Funny thing though, that is precisely what Rush himself has said won’t work. And it won’t.

I lost any remaining respect I had for slimy Cruz when he thought he could get away with using the name ‘Clinton’ as a proxy for ‘Trump’ last night. The reporterette stomped on him about that and we had the unedifying spectacle of Teddie using his puppy dog look as if to say: “Did I really make that little mess?”

Trump in-artfully was trying to make the point that China is a strong country and uses that strength in ways he doesn't necessarily support. It fits as a pattern that he sees the USA as weak and our competitors as smart, strong and more cunning than our current administration. At this point, I'm not sure what Rush is getting at.
