Watch Donald Trump Completely Crush Ted Cruz in Mere Seconds
Mediaite ^ | 11 Mar 2016 | Tommy Christopher

There are only a few days left for Republican bed-wetters to stop Donald Trump from steamrolling his way to the presidential nomination via Florida and Ohio, and if Thursday night’s CNN Republican Presidential Debate is any indication, it’s not gonna happen. There was one moment that went largely unnoticed, though, and it perfectly demonstrates why he’s winning.

It came about an hour into the debate, as Ted Cruz was launching into one of his patented Eighth-Grader-Reciting-His-Book-Report-As-Though-It’s-A-Shakespeare-Sonnet routines about how ideologically immune he is to special interests, a linchpin of his appeal, when Trump casually destroyed him. The key here is not what Trump said, but the way Cruz literally throws up his arms in surrender when he’s done:

CRUZ: When I went to Iowa and campaigned against ethanol mandates, everyone said that was political suicide. You can’t take on ethanol in Iowa. And my opponents on this stage not only didn’t do the same. They attacked me and even promised to expand corporate welfare. If we’re going to stop bankrupting our kids and grandkids, you’ve got to be willing to take on the lobbyists…

TRUMP: … if you look back to Iowa, Ted did change his view and his stance on ethanol quite a bit. He did and — at the end. Not full on, but he did change his view in the hopes of maybe doing well. And you know, I think everybody knows that. It was a front page story all over the place, and he did make a change.

BASH: Senator Cruz?

You, my ill-informed friend, need to do a little more research. I am a Trump supporter, an evangical Christian (not counted by any politician), a college graduate, a Republican for 58 years, a great supporter of Israel. Free Republic is my first thing in the morning read. I really am offended by your remarks. Trump is my guy.

What happened that will change things?

The republican tent will become larger. After the battles of the past between the two, people will see that Trump is a uniter. Carson will be able to influence a lot of black voters to join the republican party. Carson says that he and Trump have similar Christian beliefs.

If you can’t see that Carson helps Trump become our nominee, you’re blind. (And I don’t think you’re blind).

Thank you for the answer....I thought that was a what you meant but wanted to make sure....... I have been talking with Cruzers today that have made me very sad. They have been saying thinks like Carson sold his soul and the likes so I just wanted to verify.

Good grief! This reminds me of the witch trials where the witch gets stripped naked. Then the magistrate examines the accused, finds the devilish mole on her butt and screams Witch! Witch!

Cruz is not our enemy. Neither is Trump. One of them will be the nominee and send the real witch, Hillary, back to wherever it came from.

The man has classic Bipolar symptoms. Many successful people are Bipolar. The ability to run on little sleep helps them tremendously. IF he indeed has the disorder, he CAN’T drink, smoke, or take drugs other than his prescribed cocktail of course or he will go off the rails. He appeared to be tranqued last night.

Baloney! Take your own meds. It is absolutely amazing the depths people will go to to disparage an outstanding man. He doesn’t drink because of his brother who died an alcoholic. My father didn’t drink, didn’t smoke, and didn’t do drugs either and was an outstanding self-made man. He certainly was not bi-polar and neither am I. Before psychiatrists started convincing people every step in a person’s life is governed by some happenstance from youth or some trauma or some medical problem that needs more and more medications, the world was a helluva lot more NORMAL! People also knew how to THINK for THEMSELVES!

"If you don't know I ain't a gonna tell ya, cuz from now on it's up to you to know just what I'm talkin' about."

A Clue: The two Early frontrunners of the campaign, both considered "outsiders", have cemented an alliance that will bring others into their fold and rapidly GROW the constituency.

It is really sad to see what Free Republic has become over the past few months - an abusive, liberal loving, blowhard defending Trump echo chamber.

Hey.. didn't I see you over on the boulevard the other day... you were the guy chasing smoke that was coming out of his own a$$.
