Exactly what is this article trying to suggest? That “Pentecostals” are somehow suspect or not Christian? I think John Ashcroft would disagree, as would Sarah Palin and millions of other Christians just in this country alone.
Not to be argumentative, I think you instincts, whether you believe it or not are spirit led, but I take the Bible over everything else. I would want a Christian to be able to both work in the world in any capacity, politician or otherwise, and not be ashamed to share the gospel, not be ashamed to plainly present the faith to lost people in a fallen world. Dominionism is a worldly based theology - not biblical.

Cruz attended a pretty conventional Baptist church as a child. I don’t see any evidence that he’s changed much over the years.

He’s not mocking Cruz. He’s letting us play the videos ourselves. I find the videos scary. Cruz supporters think he is anointed by God. They seem to think they know the mind of God.
One of the videos talks about getting the wealth and controlling everything. I don’t want this brand of Evangelicalism.

I realized that there is a definite and growing anti-Christian movement here on FR when I stated that I wanted a follower of God as our leader one that could bend his knee in prayer knowing that he needed help at times. Boy did that bring them out!
