Someday and soon as forewarned Christians especial any who actually live their faith will be deemed enemies of the State and persecuted and it won’t be just the leftist in the mobs, but many who now call themselves ‘Conservatives’ will put on the ‘Brown Shirts’ and join them. I just don’t see a historical allegory for success. I want a pious president. I want a president that pushes to get prayer back in school too, but the right way. He or she needs to simply destroy the federal connections by eliminating all federal monies that force all local schools to obey SCOTUS decisions. I know Cruz would do that, but he can’t win with the path his father has chosen.

I can't speak to his Christianity, but I do think Ted Cruz is a lawyer who knows how to speak to the jury and a politician who knows how to speak to an audience of potential voters.

No argument. Trump has spent a lifetime pursuing money. But this also means that he has spend a lifetime fighting politicians, bureaucrats, regulations, unions, and the mob. Even if Cruz was born in America I doubt that he could win in November however. Trump moves the needle, the needle moves the electorate. You can’t change things on the wrong side of the White House fence.
