A top security official in Dubai warned Friday of a "clash of civilizations" if U.S. Republican candidate Donald Trump becomes president, the latest sign of disquiet across the Middle East over the businessman's comments about Muslims.
Trump refused to back away from his recent statement that "Islam hates the West" during a Republican debate Thursday night in Miami, which comes after he called in December for a ban on Muslims entering the U.S.
Trump said he wouldn't stoop to being "politically correct" by avoiding such statements.
Lt. Gen. Dhahi Khalfan Tamim, the deputy chairman of police and general security in Dubai, took to Twitter to respond. Referencing political scientist Samuel P. Huntington's theory that future wars would be fought between cultures, Tamim warned that a Trump win could see him face Islamic State group leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi.

Because hating them in return is not the solution. It would only be acting just like them, to hate someone because they are different.
Is that your solution ? Act like them ?
cue the Clash. Rock the Casbah, baby.
Now definitely voting Trump!
Has there ever been a time when foreigners chimed in on a Presidential election? I bet not.
I suppose this is to isolate the LIV and give the impression that the whole world is against Trump, so maybe they should be.
The elites bank on people not thinking for themselves.
Paging Sean Hannity. Paging Sean Hannity.
Maybe Dubai should have been put in charge of our ports after all?

If Hannity gets word of that post he’ll think I’m smearing him. No, I’m reminding him that he was right.
“If all Muslims hate us then why does Trump have a hotel in Dubai?”
Not all Arabs are muslim, and not all the people in Dubai are Arab or muslim.
When Trump is ELECTED PRESIDENT they are going to receive the BIGGEST ENEMA they’ve EVER experienced.
They are talking about DUBAI in general being a place where women can show some skin, not Trump’s place....geesh.
Yes. I was in Dubai and we were allowed our Western culture in the hotels that catered to businessmen. I wore a dress and we drank beer. I was required to wear a headscarf and stay covered in Riyadh though. We went wandering in the basement of the hotel and were followed by a man wearing a white nightgown, a red and white tablecloth on his head tied on with a bungee cord. Apparently, he didn’t like me laughing, holding my coworkers hand or breathing.
Suffering from religious rabies makes one express flippant thoughts.
And what exactly have we seen between islime and civilization up till now? Kumbaya?
Then why is Trump aiding them by doing business with them?
So it's OK with Trump that they hate us as long as he's making a buck off them?
Since we have absolutely no idea what Trump will do in office then that is the scary part.
So that means that only 76% of the population hates us instead of 100%. How comforting.
Many Western companies invest there.
Many Western companies want to invest in Iran, too.
Second, as Trump is increasingly advised on foreign affairs, his understanding of islam is changing. Paris and San Bernardino have changed many peoples views of islam, including Trump's.
Then based on this new found information will he divest from Dubai?
I'm not arguing with Trump about Islam's feelings towards us. I'm wonder why, given that hatred, he does business with them?
How would he separate the two?
It's been pretty much his solution in the past. He wants to ban them all. Close down mosques. Up surveillance on the rest. Do you disagree with any of that?
Since we have absolutely no idea what Trump will do in office then that is the scary part.

I’d rather take my chances with Trump, than be subjected to one more day of the agonizing “Establishment” same ‘ol, same ‘ol, that we would endure with Raphael.
