Neil Bush, the son of President George H. W. Bush, who defrauded U.S. taxpayers out of $1.5 billion dollars in the savings and loan scam, and later peddled influence for the Chinese government, (who plied him with Chinese prostitutes) has formally endorsed Senator Ted Cruz for president. You cant make this stuff up.
Gee, I'm one of the stupid Trump voters, could you provide me a few links that prove the article wrong? Maybe even I could learn a little, though doubt that.
I just dont like the guy -GW Bush
Actually, W was the only Bush whoever said something negative about Cruz, and it's obvious he has his personal reasons for it. Jeb never said anything negative about Cruz. There are deep ties between Cruz and the Bushes.
Cruz has a BUSH on his campaign team.
A Texas Republican knows Texas Republicans?
Gosh what a shock!
Only a low information Trumper could find conspiracies in that.
Guess those tin foul birther caps cut off oxygen to the brain.
“Actually, W was the only Bush whoever said something negative about Cruz, and it’s obvious he has his personal reasons for it.”
Bush lied and people died according to Trump. So it’s good that he doesn’t like Cruz. No?
Will the Cruzers here on FR-—if you’re not going to leave-—at LEAST admit that the “outsider” crud is a bunch of laughable BS
For the same reason that we should ignore endorsements by Rush, Beck, Mitt, Rove and other powerful insiders, we should ignore endorsements by the crazies and by other sinners.
We should each be responsible for our own pick.
Because Cruz was on the Florida recount defense team in 2000.
Doesn't makes sense. Cruz was on Bush's 2000 recount legal team.
Convicted cop killer Edgar Tamayo Arias executed after Cruz fought Bush administrations request for new hearings.
Humberto Leal Garcia Jr., a Mexican national convicted of raping and killing a 16-year-old girl in 1994, was executed by lethal injection in Texas. Ted Cruz, the states solicitor general argued the case against President Bush’s administration push for new hearings .
Mexican national Jose Ernesto Medellin, whose death penalty conviction in the rape and murder of two teen girls sparked international controversy, was put to death in Texas after Ted Cruz argued and won the case before the Supreme Court.
President George W. Bush had reluctantly made that demand for a new hearing after an international court concluded Medellin was improperly denied access to his consulate before his original prosecution.
Cruz and his wife were both legal GOPhers for the Bush dynasty. It’s all the information I need. Thanks.
So Stone is now Trump’s proxy again? Let’s compare proxies!
Stone was Dole’s campaign advisor who came up with the wonderful idea of using Dole’s nomination acceptance speech to attack Pat Buchanan and immigration enforcers. Stone’s ex-wife founded Republicans for Choice. Dole’s ex-wife founded “It’s My Party PAC,” created to drive conservatives out of the Republican Party.
Neil was on the Board of Trustees of Silverado Savings and Loans. He didn’t “defraud” taxpayers of anything. Like vast numbers of S&L’s, it went under in 1991, attracting attention because of its ties to then-President George Bush. Neil was cleared of criminal wrong-doing, but was fined for making loans to business partners without a proper paper trail to identify his ties to the business partners. Suits against Silverado were settled, with Neil paying only $50,000.
Like Donald Trump, himself, Neil has business deals with China. Trump has used promises of EB-1 visas to Chinese firms in exchange for securing financing for his real estate ventures, which is highly unethical and will assuredly dog his entire presidency. Neil, on the other hand, advises Chinese entrepreneurs of how to navigate Chinese (Yes, chiefly CHINESE, not AMERICAN) regulations.
I have read a few books about the W Bush administration, and he called Ted "Theodore" and was onto his unbridled ambition before many. W has a hard rabble Texas style most of the other Bushies don't.
Ya know, I’m thinking Drudge has some anti-Cruz motivations that may be inspired by his other life’s interest.
Cruz and his wife were both legal GOPhers for the Bush dynasty. Its all the information I need. But thanks.
Bush said, "I just don't like the guy (Cruz)" very early in the campaign, I think even before Trump was in and definitely before the quote you were citing.
I missed the prostitution angle. Neil Bush had sex with women he could reasonably have presumed were prostitutes paid for by someone else. Roger Stone hurt Bob Dole by being drawn into his own prostitution scandal, plus ran the political campaign of Kim Davis, better known as Eliot Spitzer’s madam.
