Report: 46,000 Pa. Democrats Become Republicans Due To Trump

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Nearly 46,000 Pennsylvania Democrats have switched to Republicans since the beginning of the year.

According to Penn Live, some experts attribute the mass exodus to Donald Trump.

There’s even a title for the movement. It’s called “Ditch and Switch” and calls for lifelong Democrats to abandon the party, register Republican, and help ensure Trump’s place in the general election.

Could be. But it also could be that some blue collar democrats are pretty fed up with losing manufacturing, coal mining, and other industrial companies and jobs, etc. Obama and the democrat’s idiotic war on coal, gas & oil has put a lot of people out of business and permanently out of work.

I’ve LONG thought that the GOP should have gone harder after the working class/middle class, esp Caucasians. I know the reversals of the NE and South politically, but they blew a golden opp when not going after the Dems on issues of jobs and race, esp “affirmative action”

Whoever has advised these idiots to keep talking about “bringing more minorities” into the fold totally missed the boat. People of all races give more of a damn about family, safety, national security, crime, education, jobs/economy, fairness, drugs, et al than they do about “waterboarding” and some of the other totally ridiculous Q&A and “issues” and infighting these out of touchers get into.
