If the anti-Trump folks are staging this right, it won’t be desperation crap from Rubio. It’ll be 50 coordinated hit pieces from Trump’s past that will overwhelm the ability to fact check later. Rubio will pontificate at length about how he talked with John Doe, whose working class family was destroyed by their interaction with Trump. That will be a real guy (or 3) conveniently at a press avail post debate.
John Doe will almost certainly be from Ohio.
Florida is done. Tonight’s debate will be about Ohio. For all the talk of a Rubio/Cruz alliance, the debate will seem like Kasich is Rubio’s new best friend.
Rubio’s objective, easily spelled out: take out 3-6% of Trump’s support in Ohio.
Then he’ll get out tomorrow because that will help Cruz in the non-FL, non-OH states on Tues and might bump Kasich another 1-2 points in OH.
What can a politician do with a national stage and no cares about how the polls will reflect his performance?
Should be a heck of a show.
Perhaps we should call this the Rubio Kamikaze debate.

Oh my gosh not another one. When will it end? I hope I don’t succumb to watching another of these media carnival events which features GOP candidates obediently lining themselves up for media target practice which the candidates later complain about. And yet they keep coming.

Trump should say “As soon as one of these politicians are asked about an issue they always say ‘I was the first to open my big mouth...the first to scream and holler....I didn’t do a damn thing but I was the first to yell and I yelled louder than anybody.’ That’s the way Ted and Hillary always respond. Politicians....all talk and no action.”

There are four good men on this stage. In the heat of battle, we sometimes say and do things about which we have second thoughts and regrets. When this process is finished, I hope we end the battle, mend wounds, work together, and accomplish what we all want — putting a Republican in the White House, saving the country, and making it great again. Our allies will once again fear us and our friends will once again trust us.
We are at a dangerous time in our nation’s history, facing a nuclear Iran, relentless Islamic terror, an immigration policy out of control, a lack of jobs, particularly in minority communities, and an increasing debt with which we will be burdening our children and grandchildren.

How many more debates are scheduled? Perhaps they’ll keep having them until a fistfight breaks out.
In the two hours of people trying to upset Trump it’ll be interesting to watch the dynamic between the other three.
Hopefully Cruz agreed to go along with whatever Jeb! proposed but turns around and sticks it to Kasich and Rubio as much as to Trump.
I can only pray that number 1 Melania has drummed it into him to stay out of the weeds. number 2 he sticks with the nice pointers Sean gave him the other night about why he is conservative and he was smart enough to glom onto and number 3 he beats Felito Cruz like a drum about hiring Neil Bush and Bush staffers for his campaign.
Like many, I am only now leaving work. So like many, I will be on the road in traffic and will not be able to watch on TV CNN.
BUT I will be listening to the audio live over SiriusXM satellite.
So my point is, like many Americans jt will be the AUDIO impact, the human voice. Not the images on tv, but the impact of the human voice.
