Presidential candidate Marco Rubio on Thursday night insisted he is not dropping out of the GOP primary, despite reports that he was considering doing so just days before his home state's primary.
Asked by Fox News's Megyn Kelly if he was preparing to drop out, the junior senator from Florida said, "No. I am not dropping out, I am fighting all the way through. Were going to win Florida."
He added that reports of him dropping out before Tuesday's winner-take-all primary in Florida, which will award 99 delegates, are "100 percent, categorically false."
"We win Florida on Tuesday and this election changes completely, and it gives us the momentum to go forward to win the nomination," he said.

Rubio, Cruz, Kasich and Jeb meet this week to plot against Trump.
Rubio will end up making a deal and bowing out.
He just has to make sure it's a great deal for him.
Plotting and scheming trolls.

Rubio got Carsoned by Cruz. Somehow, I don’t think he’s going to drop out before Florida.

I’m guessing that they not only know that, they know Cruz can’t win with Trump in the race under any scenario, nor do they actually want Cruz to win. If Rubio stays in, he’ll take the moderate votes away from Trump, like he did in Virginia and Wisconsin, while Cruz takes away those to the right of Trump. They may figure this contains Trump. Even in the winner take all states, if they can chip any votes away from Trump, it may give Cruz the win, and even if not, they depress Trump’s popular vote, which gives them bargaining leverage later. The goal they seek is a convention where neither Trump nor Cruz can achieve a majority, at which point they insert whomever, but neither Trump nor Cruz, as a compromise.

Oh sure, they'll come out to get their picture taken, but will they come out on Election Day? Only if they're open primaries. If they're liberals who usually vote Democrat, they need an open primary to vote for Trump. Nothing like letting liberals pick your candidate to ensure victory.

I think the only people interested in Marco Rubio at this point are his donors.
To: blueplum
Cruz’ campaign seems to have his finger on the pulse of who’s going to drop out. Well, all you have to do is watch CNN to get the info yourself.
