Dear Republicans, It's Ted Cruz

DEAR REPUBLICANS, IT'S TED CRUZ

What is the rationale for Marco Rubio's candidacy?

The latest poll out from the classiest and most reliable Florida pollster, Quinnipiac University, says there is none.

After a week of disappointing elections for Rubio, the Florida Q Poll is the dagger to the heart of his presidential aspirations. Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush can be happy that while his own bid failed, at least he killed the one his campaign staff called "Judas." Enjoy Fisher Island.

The poll shows frontrunner Donald Trump doubling up Florida freshman Rubio with less than a week to go before the winner-take-all contest for 99 delegates. Coming after a disastrous election night it should be enough to send Rubio packing.

The only argument for Rubio's continued candidacy was the "Romney Plan" in which voters should support any candidate in any race that can beat Donald Trump or deny him delegates. It worked pretty well in Michigan where Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas and Ohio Gov. John Kasich soaked up the majority of delegates with their tie for second place behind Trump....

Thank You MayflowerMadam...I think there are a lot of us that are feeling this way...

We have a fine candidate that wants nothing more than to save our Great Country and if the ‘globalists’ and ‘establishment’ can’t see that, then the Country can go to the dogs, it’s almost there anyway, have Hillary coming in will just finish it off....

THe GOPe won’t have to take down Cruz, the DNC will do that for them by suing him in federal court the day after he would become the nominee. They would find a federal judge who would agree the NBC issue is a serious one and chaos would ensue. Getting rid of Cruz is the easiest part, then the GOPe would have to reconvene and pick Jeb! or someone in his place. If the present rules don’t cover this, rest assured they will make up new rules that will.

Is Ted Cruz deliberately trying to lose, Neil Bush is an albatross. The S&L debacle is still fresh in my mind. His current and past choice of advisers leads me to believe he’s somewhat out of touch.

There is NO evidence Trump will lose against Hillary. Real world results in the primaries show Trump pulls better in all demographics and in numbers greater then Dems. Fake Polls are not evidence of anything but the ruling class thinking people are stupid.

Go Ted Bush! We need another lawyer married to the GOPe and CFR.

No Republican can win the presidency without Texas.
The hate and lies the mean spirited flim flamm man from New York poured on Texas native son Cruz has a lot to do with Hillary beating Trump in all the polls.

Getting more and more believable that Trump and his sweet thang Hillary made a DEAL.

What I don’t understand is why so many people who are supposed on our side are going along with it - are they all corrupt, or just deluded?

Most of these political a$$holes have one goal, and one goal only.. to keep the current feeding trough and pecking order in place.

It's fairly obvious after the 2014 mid-term elections when the Republicans controlled BOTH the House and Senate, yet, NOTHING CHANGED.

It's become clear.. What we have is a UNI-PARTY.. NOT a two party system.

The RNC lost control of this primary months ago. The last minute interference from Romney, Rove, Ryan and others is pathetic.

There used to be a hint of honor among GOP candidates and they would get out when they had no chance of winning. Not today. Rubio and Kasich remain only to distort early results, in hopes of an establishment convention coup that could deny We The People’s candidate. Carson stayed in the race too long as well. The RNC and the GOP are near suicide. Good riddance.

I’m still with Cruz, but know he’s a long shot.

I have had a change of heart on Cruz because of the Jeb people, Neill Bush and the Fiorina endorsement. I fear that all of the anti-establishment noise made by Cruz in the Senate may have been a well planned ruse.

I voted for Cruz in the primary, but I suspect we have been duped. If I had it to do over again, even though I am not a fan, I would probably vote Trump.

Just because Trumpers wear silly little tin foil birther hats doesn’t mean everyone does.

Stirewalt is Megyn Kelly’s trained parrot. He says whatever SHE wants to hear. I would NOT be surprised to learn that she gives him a script before the show, or has someone hold up cue cards when she calls on him. He is so glad for his gig with her, he’ll say anything she wants.

Yep. Trump beats Hillary on the issues, but Cruz beats her on personality and likability.

There is just not that big of a gap between Cruz and Trump on the issues.

Roughly half of your voters are analytical and will go with the candidate who is with them on most issues. The other half is emotional and will go with the likability factor. You need enough of both groups to win.
