AND NOW... amidst billowing clouds of fragrant, aromatic first- and second-hand premium cigar smoke... it is time for... that harmless, lovable little fuzz ball, the highly-trained broadcast specialist, having more fun than a human being should be allowed to have, from behind the golden EIB microphone, firmly ensconced in the prestigious Attila-The-Hun chair at the Limbaugh Institute of Advanced Conservative Studies, serving humanity simply by showing up, and he's not retiring until every American agrees with him - do NOT doubt him - with shrieks of joy at the mere mention of his name (that's Rush, for those in Rio Linda),the Mandarin of Talk Radio, with talent on loan from G-d, at the cutting-edge of societal evolution, with half his brain tied behind his back - just to make it fair, the all-knowing, all-caring, all-sensing, all-feeling, all-concerned Maha-Rushie! America's anchorman, truth detector, and doctor of democracy. A real man, a living legend, a way of life. Commander-in-Chief of U.S. Operation Chaos. Chief Waga-Waga El Rushbo of the El Conservo Tribe. Chief of the Patriotism Police. Leader of the Conservative Movement. A Weapon of Mass Instruction. El Rushbo (a little Spanish lingo, there). He is the man who is running America (you know it and I know it). He knows the Democrats like every square inch of his glorious naked body. He is ready to do what he was born to do - host. Get ready to what you were born to do - listen. And post your comments on the Rush Limbaugh LIVE Radio Thread.
Simple: Rush will see it as a Great Victory ...for Cruz.

LOL!
LOL! Kasich for postmaster general!
A contested convention is one where the candidates involved fight it out, and back room deals by the establishment do not. It is not a brokered convention where the powers that be pull all the strings to nominate their candidate.

Yes, I’m well aware of that; that’s why I said “contested” and not “brokered.”
Trump picked up 6% of the delegates needed to win the nomination, along with 2 Rule 40 states. Cruz only got 5% and 1 rule 40 state. Cruz needs more days like Saturday, than Tuesday.
South by southwest is when you are fat AND fat over there
I am curious about that, because before last night Cruz said he was not for a contested convention, but after those bad results he is now.
I am not listening to Rush but could you give me an update please if he mentions it or makes excuses for Trumps big win.
Who knows anymore with the polling all over the place. It's doubtful that Rubio does anything but lose in FL, but then so did the polling predicted Bern losing big to Clinton in MI last night.
JG is a lost cause. He is simply drowning in a TDS pool of dementia.
He talked first off about the Bernie victory in Michigan and how that was a sign that Trump can win against Hillary the same way.

Sure thing; I’ll be listening for about an hour before I have to leave for work.
I wish Son of Mailman would stop e-mailing me. I deleted three of his spam mails already today.
Rush was also saying that Talk Radio is to blame for Trump wins. Go figure!
thank you so much

There is usually an “unsubscribe” link...maybe not for the Son of Mailman

According to the articles he is citing.
I think the better way to explain this is the Dogmatics vrs the Realists.
This is an old divide in Conservatism. The Dogmatist care nothing about political realities, only the purity of the dogma matters to them. The Realist understands you have to be able to advance the political ball down the field to achieve the goals of the dogma.
Reagan, who was a realist, wrote about it.
By Ronald Reagan in his autobiography An American Life
When I began entering into the give and take of legislative bargaining in Sacramento, a lot of the most radical conservatives who had supported me during the election didnt like it. Compromise was a dirty word to them and they wouldnt face the fact that we couldnt get all of what we wanted today. They wanted all or nothing and they wanted it all at once. If you dont get it all, some said, dont take anything. Id learned while negotiating union contracts that you seldom got everything you asked for. And I agreed with FDR, who said in 1933: I have no expectations of making a hit every time I come to bat. What I seek is the highest possible batting average. If you got seventy-five or eighty percent of what you were asking for, I say, you take it and fight for the rest later, and thats what I told these radical conservatives who never got used to it.
No Rush is saying the “conservative Media” is blaming Talk Radio for Trump.
