Trump holding steady, but it is Cruz and Kasich who are benefiting from Carson leaving and Rubio faltering.

However, this is before Trump's solid Tuesday night primary victories.

This is starkly different from the Wall Street Journal/NBC push poll.

Trump only picked up 15 Delegates on Cruz yesterday.

Rubio & Kasich are Trump's best fiends at this point.

Media taking fake polls after voters have just gone to the real polls.

Ridiculous.

Oh Noes! That means 59.8% don’t like Trump!

Love you guys. Cruz picks up 15 Saturday and it is a massive victory, Trump gains back 15 and it is “only 15”.

Could we stop with these silly attempts to play poltical spin mister around here?

Reuters is pretty much the same as it’s been for weeks. Only notable dif is Cruz and Rube traded spots.

Next up is the winner take all states. Trump should do very well in most of those states.

Lots of delegates up March 15.

Trump could widen his lead at that point.

Seems Cruz will be a factor till the convention.

I do not think Cruz will let it go to a brokered convention.

Trump and Cruz will make a deal if Trump is way ahead in delegate count, but not the required 1,237.

A little simple math here for the people entertaining the idea of a Cruz-Rubio ticket: 23.2% + 14.5% does not add up to 40.2%, it adds up to 37.7%. Donald Trump has more supporters than Rubio and Cruz combined.

Full disclosure - For me, Trump is #1, and Cruz is #1A.

Cruz is at an all-time high here. Trump is treading water.

However, as I said in the OP, this is before Trump’s solid night last night. Also, as this is a 5 day moving average poll, the Carson impact is not yet phased out. And with Cruz climbing here, his most recent numbers may be in the high twenties.

This ain’t over by any means. If Trump doesn’t reach 1237, it could get very interesting.

FWIW, fivethirtyeight.com has Donald increasing his current target ratio from 104% to 106% as a result of last night.

That’s because the NBC/WSJ have been trying to use their poll to manipulate the trend. They were hoping that Trump would demonstrate weakness yesterday and then their poll would be used to further push that narrative. Trump regardless if you love him or hate him knows how to create a wave and ride it. Right now he’s benefiting hugely by the stupidity of an enemy that has built up a straw Trump that only exists in their own minds which of course is exactly why they repeatedly fail to take Trump out.
