Laugh line of the morning comes from Cokie Roberts' Wikipedia entry: "Some have questioned Roberts' objectivity as a journalist." Some, indeed. On today's Morning Joe, NPR-ite Roberts, her eyes flashing with anger, asked Donald Trump whether he was "proud" of promoting racism among schoolkids: "There have been incidents of children, white children, pointing to their darker skinned classmates and saying 'you'll be deported when Donald Trump is president.' . . . Are you proud of that?"
Calling it a "very nasty question," Trump replied "I'm not proud of it because I didn't even hear of it. And I don't like it at all when I hear about it." Roberts said that it's been reported in many papers, presumably alluding to articles such as this and this.

Cokie is just another angry, nasty, lying liberal. She’s like so many irrelevant has-beens that just refuse to go away.
Cokie Roberts is an example of why TRUMP’s street talk and push back sells like complimentary hot cakes when he bashes the atrocious media elites, scandalously in bed with the establishment of both parties and ALL of their donors.
I was ready to email mnbc about Cokie’s performance this morning, long before Cokie’s attack on TRUMP.
Cokie was already allowed to insanely disrupt and interrupt every single panelist this morning, with her giggles, or raucous laughter, obnoxious one liners, surly injections of mockery and condescension, all accompanied by her constant lip licking, before she ever even posed her hysterical non-sourced attack on TRUMP, who was not allowed to answer.
TRUMP was shown no respect by anyone as Cokie set the pattern of behavior identical to that of a gang of jackals.
TRUMP IS RATTLING ALL THE RIGHT PEOPLE.
The KITCHEN SINK strategy against TRUMP was set in motion by MJ this morning. Their fairness to TRUMP came to an abrupt halt. MJ has reversed their tracks from covering TRUMP to closing in and attacking TRUMP, giving an assist to the PACS.
I don’t know why more candidates don’t simply call out the hostile media interrogator with a question when the implication is obvious.
In this case simply state, are you accusing me of racism (or whatever ridiculous accusation)? Then when they waffle or say yes or no, pour out wrath on the hostile media. Rightly accuse them of slander and bias. Point out their known leftist connections and sympathies and any of their own foibles.
This should really become routine at this point for Trump.

This “incident” with the school children was preached from the pulpit in my church Sunday. The priest did not mention Trump by name, but it was insinuated. Politics from the pulpit is not good.

Cokie also expressed concern for Mexican children as if the rest of us don't care as much as she 'cares'. The Victorian White elite CARES about the natives... It's like reading a cheap 1940's B novel. I've never heard Cokie express concern for American children - all American children. Again, Victorian White Aristocrat patting the head of small brown child... disgusting racist delusion...

Yes, American elites have gone delusional... Another guest expressed concern for European elites... Joe's worried about Trump - when will he 'reach out' to the GOPe.... Why the hell should he? Maybe a better question is 'when will the GOPe puffed up elites reach out to Trump?
And Bob Woodward's coming across as a person who's clueless about how money works in a global economy. If he wants to know how to get Mexico to pay for the Wall he can read Trump's latest book... it's in there..
When Trump's President he should starve-off the so called elites in DC. NO wage increases for the next 8 years and shut down their fancy subsidized venues - those that eat up government grant money should be on the chopping block.
Maybe eight years from now these dreadful elites will have developed a little empathy for what the American people have been through. After their lives have been coarsened I would hope we would NOT stoop to their level and mock them and act superior to their anger - - complaining about their 'tone'.
Oh, and to the military ‘experts’ and State Department types? We've been at war for over 15 years. That tells me that no one is DC is doing a good job for the people and that the only winners are military contractors and the people in Washington they bribe... oops - listen to ‘speeches’ from...
And since congressmen go to DC middle class or worse and in a few years are millionaires I suspect we need to look at all these State Department and Military Adviser types and see if they're ‘giving speeches’ too. Also known as selling out the American people.
That said, these horrible people have defined ‘tone’ as what makes one superior... I'm not sure if the crooks could have come up with something MORE superficial, but I doubt it. In that one area, they are superior. Tone. Attitude. Looking down their noses at the taxpayers who support them.
Suggestion to Trump: Turn the beautiful buildings in Washington DC into Museums for the people - and let the corrupt lowlifes 'representing' us work in office buildings... nice ones, but the same kinds of places the rest of us work. Our representatives are not worthy of the grandeur...
Just a foretaste of what awaits come general election season.
