Latino immigrants applying for U.S. citizenship in record numbers thanks to Trump

Donald Trump’s presidential campaign may actually be empowering the Latino.

No, really. At least that’s what a number of non-profit organizations and even the White House are working toward.

--SNIP-- Hortensia Villegas is a Colorado mother of two who immigrated from Mexico legally nearly 10 years ago. She never felt the need to become a citizen, she told the New York Times, until Trump rose in the polls.

“I want to vote so Donald Trump won’t win,” Villegas, 32, told the paper at a Denver union hall where volunteers were helping hundreds of immigrants to fill out citizenship applications. “He doesn’t like us.”

The sad irony is that these Latinos only want to become citizens so they can vote against the guy who wants to prevent the USA from becoming like their country of origin.

Also from the article.
Last week, $10 million dollars in federal grants were promised to NGOs helping immigrants through the application process

She never felt the need to become a citizen,

Should have been deported. Once again, our government favors non-citizens over it's own citizens.

All the illegals are now transitioning, just like we said they would, with the results just the same as we said they would be.

Eh, illegal aliens, no big...

She’s not naturalizing to vote against Trump, she’s naturalizing because it costs the same as a green card renewal, which you have to pay every 10 years.

This alone should be reason enough to vote from Trump from now till the end. The Mexicans know he means it. The elites know he means it.

The gopE will do what they can to stop Trump so the Trump voters stay home and Cruz wins. IF they let him win the nomination and don’t take him out over the birth thingy. Either way they’ll do what they can to make sure Hillary wins.

Or, they put their gopE candidate in and both Trump and Cruz voters stay home. Hillary wins. Like Rush said today, either way the elites win.

I beg of you Cruz supporters to open you eyes and see what the gop is doing to you and to this country. The only possible way to stop them is Donald Trump. And that’s not even guaranteed.

Well when the Trump administration shuts down all the benefits and those sanctuary cities can no longer afford to pay for them they’ll leave. Maybe some group will sustain them for a while but when their resources run out ....

So much for the talk fron the Trumpsters that Trump is the only Republican thatvcan win the Hispanic vote.

No Republican will win the Hispanic vote. They’ll be lucky to get 30% of the Hispanic vote. They stick together legal immigrants and citizens still stand with with their illegal paisons. Democrats are successfuly building apermanent majority.

“I want to vote so Donald Trump won’t win,” Villegas, 32, told the paper at a Denver union hall where volunteers were helping hundreds of immigrants to fill out citizenship applications. “He doesn’t like us.”

So, written plainly for all to see, is the incredible fact that foreigners are coming to the US and trying to have political influence so that they can determine the direction of the country, rather than Americans, that direction being one that favors the foreigners, and the single supposedly "conservative" news station is presenting that as a sympathetic story.

We like illegals as much as mexicans like illegals coming in to mexico across their southern border.

Thank you for referencing that article Kid Shelleen. Please bear in mind that the following critique is directed at the article and not at you.

My reservation about any immigrants who are lawfully trying to become a citizen is the following. Will it be easier for Trump or Cruz with work with the states and their 10th Amendment-protected pwoers to fix the economy if new citizenship is temporarily halted?

In other words, is the first thing that probamly many new citizens are doing is applying for unconstitutional federal welfare?
