why? Maybe he saw first hand the disgusting tactics the establishment does and saw how Cruz is running his campaign.

Now Rubio is seeing the same from Cruz.

Carson called himself “pathological.” In fact, in his autobiography, he said he has “a pathological disease.” That’s an exact quote.
