The humor obvious escaped you. This piece was written in September. Since then, we’ve had an Autumn of Trump and a winter of Trump.
There is an ebb and flow to every movement. The trick is to try having your popularity peak near election times. One can peak too early and never quite regain that lofty level.
There’s a lot of time between now, March and the tail end of Summer. A lot can happen to influence the votes, including World Events. Just ask Kim Jong Il what’s up his sleeve?
