Neil Bush, brother of Jeb and George W. Bush, has joined the Ted Cruz national finance team, the senators campaign announced this afternoon.
Whether Neil Bush is an outlier within the family, or the vanguard of a dynastic shift, remains to be seen.
This is certainly great news, said Cruz communications director Alice Stewart.
-snip-
Neil Bush, a Houston businessman, was a director at Denver-based Silverado Savings and Loan in the 1980s. Its failure caused political headaches for his father, then the vice president.

I believe he was so privileged that he could expect very attractive women to somehow know what hotel room he was staying in, knock on his door, be invited in, and provide services completely free of charge.
So Cruz dumps a soft-core porn actress, for a hard-core porn aficionado.
How many dirtball Bushes are there in the woodwork anyway???
either way they are in bed and now an establishment elected lawyer official.
Insanity doing the same thing and expecting a different results .
Tat is why I don’t want another ivy league lawyer who is an elected official.
yes when your candidate bows you you must swear an oath to support no other.. maybe even commit political sepaku ?
Well, well, well, the mask is finally off.
Heidi put her foot down and said “this outsider chit is just not working Teddy. Time to bring in the establishment boys. The cruzebot rubes will never know the difference”. :-)
Say hello to Cruz and Goldman Sachs for me, or Kaysich and common core, o.k.? Your candidates perform proskenysis before crony capitalists.
Cruz may be a brilliant lawyer, but his judgement sucks. First he hires Beck, a raving Moonbat, and now a Bushie?!
Yes, there’s no way that Cruz will win the nomination outright and in an open convention, the balance of power swings away from the voters and to the establishment. A vote for Cruz is now a vote to allow the establishment to select the candidate at the convention.
Cruz has skeletons in the front of his closet. His past client list pops the illusion of proamerican worker stance. It is all kept to the side til the general.
Cruz is like any other lobbyist in DC. He uses his past status to garner $1000 dollar an hour legal rates in DC.
This should be a red flag.
Cruz has a long, long list of Establishment red flags.
Sadly, Cruzers are ignoring and continue to believe in their Establishment messiah.
How do you know Neil Bush isn’t a rock-ribbed conservative? Why do you assume he’s the same as his brothers?
Trump donated to Cruz. What did Cruz do legislatively for Trump?
Hey Jedi - Neil was the Silverado S&L scandal. He runs a consulting firm out of his fathers house.
He’s a rock ribbed Bush globalist.
All Trump has to do is beat this drum all night long at the Thursday night debate. Its so perfect.
The NWO has now joined the Cruz campaign. So outsider. LOL!
The Bushes have a collective, weapons-grade case of habanero Ka-boom! Azz blaster butt hurt.
What we got here is a failure to communicate. How stoopid could we hoi polloi be? It was Jeb’s turn!
Sorta'
“Trump didn’t pick Duke, and has never supported his brand of politics in any way.”
I just wanted to hear you deny it. And to condemn the tactic.
It’s an old Donald Trump negotiating trick. Smart businessman tool. Really, really great deals.
“Trump has disavowed this guy time and time again - yet, not once has Cruz disavowed Glenn Beck.”
