In context, Cruz’s position makes sense. *If* the refugees can be vetted, fine. *If* they aren’t vetted, then keep them out. They currently aren’t being adequately vetted, so keep them out.
One problem, there is no way to vet them properly. There is no master list of who is in ISIS etc. Hell, we don’t even know if they are who they say they are.
Keep the Islamic refugees out period. Have you not been paying attention to what is happening in Europe?
