Think for a minute how remarkable this is: a Yankee, a New Yorker (who is pure New York, not a faux New Yorker) has just swept the entire formerly Confederate south save TX, with FL and NC pending.
Trump leads in WV and MD as well. As a historian, I just find that nearly unbelievable.

And yet, some poor dears think Cruz is more likely to win in November.

It should be a good night.
I also happy the Bush dynasty fell in behind Cruz like we knew he would. Blows the lid off the Cruz, “Not an establishment guy” BS.

“Remember Mississippi!” Crushing the Tea Party (McConnell) and screwing over McDaniel (Haley Barbour and Senator Cochran) came to be widely known by what some might be called rubes!

I noticed that earlier that most of south is already Trump country. Now we can add Mississippi. Florida would be the icing on the cake.

IIRC, when Obama took office in 2008, the Arkansas delegation was 3 Dem and 1 Rep House members and 2 Dem senators.
In 2014, the delegation was 4 Rep House members and 2 Rep senators.

I can tell you that West Virginians are very pragmatic. Historically, survival trumped (ha) religion except on Sunday. Very solid people (until Johnson’s Great Society moved in). Still salt of the earth. Trump has already said “coal is coming back”. That’s enough for a landslide. If obambi should darken the border of WV he would be shot.
