On that, we can find some agreement.

Most interesting he's saying all these GOPe bigwigs say Trump is taking FL and OH ! --
Somebody has to be doing the math, and figuring some scenario where Cruz, Rubio and Kasich can prevent Trump from taking a majority.
Axlerod saying that Kasich already promised to get out if he loses Ohio, and if Kasich stays around as "walking dead", it would be transparently manipulative. Well yeah, it's transparently being discussed already!
To: mtrott
I would hope and pray that both Rubio and Kasich pull out now. Cruz will take over from there and win... he is nipping at Trumps heels but can’t make it due to the votes being drained by both the others.
I don’t think that even though BEN CARSON said he would favor TRUMP ( never said he would endorse him) over the establishment, I doubt his supporters would go for Trump ...

The problem is that it will be obvious that Rubio and Kasich cant win, so their ONLY purpose for staying in would be to block Trump. It would be deliberate disunity.Yet they'll do it. They are not going to back off.

any word on the projected allocation for MI? My back of the envelope math has it Trump 25, Cruz 17, Kasich 17. Greenpapers now agrees. http://www.thegreenpapers.com/P16/MI-R

“Cruz would NOT run the table in the remaining states if it were Trump vs Cruz. No way.”
Why not? Lots of closed and semi-closed primaries coming up. In these states, true Republicans will be voting, not riled up democrats.

Funny thing is, our governor LePage endorsed Trump, claiming he was Trump, before Trump was Trump.

Actually they should put all their marbles in the Cruz bag and tell Rubio/Kasich to get out of the way. Cruz could win head to head against Trump. Thank God for stupid opponents.
The GOPE really is as stupid as we always thought it was.
People need to get on their phone and start letting their State GOP offices know going against the will of the voters at the Convention is a good way to lose everything.

he is nipping at Trumps heels but cant make it due to the votes being drained by both the others. There's probably a lot to that. Independents seem to be breaking all over the place, too.
To: mtrott
“John King and the CNN analyst now saying the never Trump people want Rubio and Kasich to stay in the race so that Trump never gets 1237 “
Yep.
Because they don’t want Cruz either.
They want Paul Ryan.
Go figure.
