Vote for Ted Cruz: Joseph Farah endorses candidate with the 'most Reaganesque vision'
WorldNetDaily ^ | March 7, 2016 | Joseph Farah, Founder, publisher and editor

It's been a strange 2016 election cycle.

On the Democratic side, it's a contest between a former senator and secretary of state who should and could be indicted at any moment for shocking breeches of national security laws and an avowed socialist who once honeymooned in the Soviet Union.

Pick your poison.

On the Republican side, it's been a wild ride with Donald Trump dominating the news coverage and frequently displaying behavior unprecedented in presidential politics in modern times.

It's been brutally contentious, sometimes ugly and, at times, hilarious.

Technically, there are four candidates still in the hunt for the Republican nomination. But realistically, it's down to two from the original 17.

The Republican presidential nominee is going to be either Donald Trump or Ted Cruz.

While Marco Rubio has been spending money like a contender, he simply hasn't demonstrated that he is more than a place or show candidate - the Minnesota caucuses and the Puerto Rico primary notwithstanding. John Kasich seems like a two-state candidate - having spent more than $30 million and 60 days campaigning in New Hampshire for a second-place finish and hanging around for his home state Ohio vote in hopes of a win....

yo can yawn as much as you want but it was Cruz who has been endorsed by the open borders Club for growth and I ma here in FL seeing their AD’s full of lies.

You seem stuck on supporting your own state senator instead of looking at the bigger picture.

If Cruz is the nominee, I will vote for him, unlike my vote for George Washington when Romney was the candidate. I do not, however, trust the man. I think he is just another lying lawyer who will say one thing and do another when elected. We are already seeing signs of this...

Trump promises to seal the border and deport the illegal invaders. We are already seeing him stand firm on this in the face of huge media heat. Trump promises to protect the second amendment, and defend Israel. I would rather have a man I know will fight for those few things, than one who will promise the world and do nothing.

If we don't get that border sealed and the illegals deported they will VOTE us into a third world shithole in the next few election cycles, we are OUT OF TIME. Cruz wants to give the dam a new paintjob...and admittedly it needs one, but when there is a hole in the dam your first emergency priority must be plugging the hole. I find the inability of some voters to comprehend and properly prioritize things shocking.

Forget it Joe, even a conservative icon like you does not have the antidote to the mind numbing effects of Trump kool-aid.
All these continuing revelations about Donald Trump’s mendacities are wasted on his starry-eyed myrmidon dolts.
Trump confirms the axiom that it is much easier to dupe somebody than to convince them that they have been duped.

If Trump gets the nomination and thus gives Hillary the presidency, Trumpers are going to react like the 9/11 hijackers reacted when they arrived in Hell:

“Hey!!! Waitaminut!!! where is the party and all the babes??? OW!!! Stop that!!! This ain’t what we was told was gonna happen!!! Ouch!!! Cut it out!!!”

Joe Farah of WND says to vote for Cruz who is not a nbc?
What happens? He is one of the most outspoken person against obola’s ineligibility, now he couldn’t care less that Cruz was born in Canada to a Cuban father and a US mother who might have been a Canadian citizen at time of Cruz’s birth? He couldn’t care less that Cruz has to renounce his Canadian citizenship, proving he is a dual citizen at best.

Don’t vote for Cruz or Rubio in the primary, simply because they are not nbc and WILL be removed by hidebeast, her RATS, her media, her courts/judges, her soros-bought sos of the states, her election officials....in the General election!

I like Cruz just fine, but WorldNutDaily ranks right up there with Glenn Beck for me.

I know there are some on here and the names of them who had a problem with Obama not being born here, and now because they see a guy who represents TX their home state they now have no problem with Cruz being a Canadian citizen two years ago.
______________________________________________________

I know some here that don’t know the difference between the legal status of Cruz’s mother and Obama mother prior to the birth of their children and how that difference affects their legal status.

How dare you post an article that isn’t 100% pro trump and anti Cruz. Don’t you know that’s not allowed. It hurts their feelings and makes them cry. Then they have to run to their “safe” place and tell each other how great trump his and how everybody is just so mean to him.

If he had endorsed the Donald all the trumpsters would love him.

Fortunately, I don’t care who endorses who, I’m able to make an informed decision all by myself, unlike some people around here.

Cruzers don’t get it yet. The GOPe is not going to eliminate Trump in favor of Cruz. They would rather gnaw off an arm with their bare teeth. Cruz is finished no matter what happens next. He is just a spoiler for the GOPe at this point.

Remember how WND pushed the Obama birther issue, raised money to fight it, etc.

Now Farah doesn’t blink an eye over Cruz’s Canadian birth.

very good point.
WND another hypocritical rag.

Look Obama is not born here, oh wait we have a man who quotes scripture and not born here, hell he was Canadian two years ago but we have no problem with that.

Reagan wasn't loved by the GOP establishment

They want to rewrite history as he rebuked George Romney in 1964 he would have destroyed his son

Policy advisers thought he was nut and was not a Lawyer too

Is Ted Cruz eligible for presidency?[2013]

'Now let me say this at the outset: I really like Ted Cruz. I think he would very likely make a fine president. But I think it’s important that we elect only those who are constitutionally eligible – those who fit the definition of “natural born citizens.”

Is he eligible?

I don’t know for sure, but I suspect not – at least not by my understanding of what the founders had in mind when they ratified the Constitution.

I admire the way Ted Cruz has handled the matter. He quickly released his birth certificate. He didn’t make ad hominem attacks on anyone who questioned his eligibility. He didn’t suggest anyone who dared question him had racist motivations.

He even went so far as to renounce his Canadian citizenship! And he is not yet a candidate for president. The next presidential election is still three years away.

But I have to honestly say that I don’t think the founders intended for those holding dual citizenship at birth to be presidential candidates. After all, America has plenty of people who clearly meet the minimal eligibility requirements to be president. Do we really need to stretch them to the breaking point?

What I would hope to see at this point, now that Obama is a lame duck, is an open and honest dialogue and healthy and vigorous debate and an intelligent and fact-based public hearing on what the Constitution means when it requires presidents and vice presidents to be “natural born citizens.”

Sadly, it’s still not happening – not even with Cruz.'
