Trump at 42% proves you cannot overestimate the stupidity of the American people.

The Donald is going down and down hard.

That's not how it looks from here. The establishment's choice, Rubio, is in fourth place. Kasich, who hasn't won a single state, is gaining, pulling votes away from Cruz. The GOPe still refuses to face the fact that Cruz is their last best hope of stopping Trump from winning the nomination. Whether he wins the remaining states by a 20 point margin or a 10 point margin he's going to be the nominee.

This poll is good news for Trump. A 22 point lead and this was taken on 3/6 after the debate and Saturdays results. Only massive poll manipulation or fraud would keep him from winning Michigan.

Only a blind dummy would see this poll and say Trump is freefalling. The internals of this poll show Trump has the highest percentage of “definitely vote” 87% and is winning across all demographics.

Tomorrow, there are also elections in Idaho and Hawaii. Trump is up by 11 in the most recent Idaho poll, but it is about 2.5 weeks old. It is a closed primary but Independents can register day of election. I would not be surprised if Cruz wins this one. But nobody will care. It will be too late when the returns come in and Trump already will have won the biggest prizes. Likewise, Hawaii is a caucus and they are expecting 20,000 voters, double 2012. Not sure how Trump will do here. But logically speaking, Trump should have this all but wrapped after Florida next week.

Mormons will turn out in Idaho and vote for Cruz. I think he is pretty solid there.

Ted Cruz went out to Idaho on Saturday and is banking on something big there. If he breaks 50 percent, he takes all 32 delegates.

Michigan and Mississippi perhaps the best he can hope for is a split. Trump will not get a majority of delegates unless he’s in a split with just one other candidate above the 15 percent threshold.

What Hawaii will reveal late at night is a ?.

“They just want to save the establishment at this point so they can get a VP slot.”

Would Hillary pick him (Cruz) as VP, maybe?

Maine was out and out voter fraud. The Maine GOP will probably contest the outcome. No way in the world Cruz wins Maine without it being fraud. We are talking about a New England state that never goes for the most conservative candidate. Maine is a very moderate state and Trump was leading in all the polls. Romney won it four years ago.
This will be investigated.

If Trump takes Ohio and all of it’s delegates, Kasich has nobody but himself to blame. He is the one who moved the primary up and made it winner take all for his own ambition.

I think you may be suffering from a bit of electile dysfunction and premature anticipation ;)

But I guess we’ll soon see who has the bigger hands in this race :p LOL!

“The facts are that Trump is still poised to run the table here and nothing in the polling disputes that.”

You don’t think he hurt himself when he went squishy on immigration?

Cruz running out of money? You heard wrong.

He raised $12 million last month, more than anyone else and has more money in the bank than anyone else; and, has a better ground game than anyone else.

No, because he didn’t go squishy on immigration. He’s building a wall, Mexico is paying for it, and he’s deporting people. He has always been for retaining immigrants that come here to go to school, but has never wavered on the rest of his immigration plan.

It doesn’t matter. Once Trump wins Florida, this thing is over. Cruz can win all the Idaho’s he wants, it’s not going to matter.

“No, because he didn’t go squishy on immigration.”

I have been supporting Trump all along, but when he said that low-wage foreigners should be allowed to displace Americans using H1B visas, the survival of the United States became much less probable.

Trump would lose MI if the three others were united as one. The division of the opposition works steadily to Trump’s favor, as it did with Newton Gingrich and Santorum trying to challenge Romney in 2012. Nothing really new

Yea, with Trump taking FL, it’s past the point of no-return, even if the others divide MI fairly evenly.
