There a cute story that when in high school his friends from NYC were concerned that he didn’t or woukdnt have a date for one of the school big dances. S parents or friends sent their daughters not only did he have a date but many of his friends did too. He was an A student, great atheletes ( could have been a pro pitcher ) and earned several leadership positions. He lead through example and encourage many who served under him said.
Dates never seemed a problem.
