Did Donald Trump's fax finally settle the debate over the facts?
One of the more contentious moments for the GOP front-runner at the latest Republican primary debate came when Sen. Marco Rubio and debate moderator Megyn Kelly questioned the performance record of Trump University, a now-defunct real estate training program that spawned class-action lawsuits by former students as well as a lawsuit by New York's attorney general.
On the stage, Trump maintained that the program, which was renamed the Trump Entrepreneur Initiative before ceasing operations in 2011, had earned an "A" rating from the Better Business Bureau, which both Kelly and Rubio disputed.
"The rating from the Better Business Bureau was a D minus," Kelly insisted.
Trump said that grade had been changed.
"It was elevated to an A," he countered over and over.
The dispute over the facts and Trump's veracity was left there during the televised face-off. However, at a commercial break shortly before the debate ended, Trump left the stage to hand a fax to Fox News' Brett Baier, who also moderated the event. Here is the moment captured by Independent Journal Review.
That fax, as Trump trumpeted via Twitter and in a Facebook post, contained the updated BBB letter grade.
The allegations around Trump University, the class-action lawsuits and the attorney generals case, are likely to continue dogging the billionaire businessman. But on one aspect of the issue, anyway, he might have made the grade.
ROFLOL
There are 13 captures on the wayback machine. (The one for Oct 2011 doesn’t work for me.) At least one of them is a D-.
And that reminds me. This castigation of Trump by Romney is similar to the treatment by his father, Romney Sr. of Mexico, of Ronald Reagan.
There are many parallels with Obama and Cruz as well: both Harvard products, green junior senators, overweening ambition, mysterious, insidious backers—the eerie similarities, including Harvard connection, between Obama and Cruz have been demonstrated here many times.
This has been debunked. BBB says they have listed it not rated since 2015 because they consider it closed. Can find on google.
“the lap dancers lie”
That is all the MSM has been doing for years!
Hide appearances, good idea except that the ‘debates’ are about advertising revenue and Trump is the main attraction. Everyone wants a piece of Trump for the ratings.
The debates should be done on CSPAN with moderator faces hidden as you suggested.

My GYN is a whore for the RINO!! IMO.
Debunk it for us then, libbylu.
So many Trump crimes... so little time.
And apparently Megyn Kelly is running for President so now I have to figure out whether to vote for her or Cruz.
I’m thinking Cruz. But it’s nice that another girl is running.
“A” ratings from the BBB are not worth the money paid for them, and the BBB has been selling them for years, all you have to do is a little Google search to see.
Fox did say that Trump broke the rules and he did. You can call it squawking if that makes you feel better.
Rules are not for the Donald.
He is a horrible embarrassment trying to debate.
He’s like a little kid. He can’t shut up.
Yesss. Go Megyn. Trump is very afraid of you.
You are so right about the rats having a field day.
Why are Trumpers even trying to support the Don on this.
If they would ignore it, maybe people would forget that a multi-millionaire was so greedy that he entered a ponzi type scheme to defraud little people out of their savings.
Little gullible people, yeah. But innocently believing Trump was telling the truth.
It is an exact metaphor for the Trump people here.
Innocent, gullible people believing Trump is telling the truth.
You are right, but too modest on his behalf.
Whomever the champion the ‘rats send to challenge him, Trump will eat him or her from the ground up
‘No more, Mr. nice guy.
No more, Mr. Cleeean!’
Go Trump, win win win
C’mon gal. Don’t be shy!
Debunka dunka dunka
‘Hic Rhodes Hic salta’
I’ll look at them later. I do see that there were 24 complaints. TWENTY FOUR out of how many people who attended? If only 100 attended, then I could see a problem but he had 10,000 (I think) It’s a drop in the ocean.
